Camping Du Pont de Bourgogne is located on the banks of the Saône, just outside Chalon-sur-Saône. The location of this three-star campsite is extremely favourable in several respects. The campsite is easily accessible from the A6 motorway and is therefore very suitable as a transit campsite if you are travelling along the Route du Soleil. The beautiful old town centre of Chalon-sur-Saône is within walking distance.

Choose your own pitch

On this campsite you can choose your own pitch. Just behind the reception the pitches are a bit smaller, but delimited with hedges. Further on, you will find an open terrain with less delimitation, but somewhat larger pitches. TAll pitches are nicely flat, neatly laid out and well- maintained. The campsite is long and narrow.

Municipal swimming pool

There is no swimming pool at the campsite, but there is a large municipal swimming pool across the river. Delightful for a refreshing dip after a long car journey. You'll find a large wave pool, a whirlpool, two indoor pools, water slides and a hammam. Via the bridge you can walk there in ten minutes.

Camping Du Pont de Bourgogne is a real transit campsite. There is no animation and no activities are organized.

Liked - We always receive a lovely welcome upon arrival, and the free 3 day wi-fi was an added, and very welcome, bonus. The staff are all always friendly and helpful. The pitches are big enough for both car and van and are in the main level. The toilet blocks are always clean, have never known them to run out of toilet paper, and the showers are not timed and the water is always warm. It is situated on the edge of Chalon sur Saone and is convenient to use as a stop over if you're traveling further south. We will always return.

Disliked - Very difficult to get Motorhome level. Considering site next to the river it’s a shame the bushes and trees by side of river block the view.

Liked - Alles Bestens - Personal sehr freundlich, aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Liegt sehr schön direkt am Ufer der Saône.
Die Altstadt von Chalon ist bequem in 15 Minuten zu Fuß, mit dem Fahrrad in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Um gut essen zu gehen bieten sich schon viele gute internationale Restaurants, in der Vorstadt an.
