Camping Au Bois Joli is situated near the town of Andryes, in the heart of the Burgundy region. You are on a campsite with lots of trees and hedges. As a result, your camping pitch always looks different from the adjacent pitches. In 2012 the campsite owners joined the French campsite organisation Sites & Paysages.

Welcome!

The reception is housed in a wooden log cabin. You will be warmly welcomed by the enthusiastic employees. When you arrive, you will straight away notice the shop and the large supply of tourist information. Outside the reception area, your eyes are drawn to the children's playground and swimming pool.

Terraced campsite

The campsite is laid out against a slope. Therefore, some of the pitches are located on a terrace. Other pitches are located on a slightly sloping section. Because of the design, the camping pitches vary from one hundred to two hundred square meters.

Adapted for children

Very convenient for families with young children: one of the sanitary buildings has been adapted for the youngest guests. It is complete with private toilet and wash basins where children can brush their teeth. Also handy: the restaurant has a dedicated menu for children.

Swimming with a view

The straightforward swimming pool has a separate toddler pool. The view is truly spectacular. From here you have a view of the forested part of Burgundy. Challenge each other to a game of table tennis, volleyball or soccer. In peak season a professional entertainment team organises all kinds of activities.

Catering

The shop offers a modest assortment of groceries. Fresh bread has to be ordered the day before. You also do not have to leave the camping site for a tasty meal. The campsite restaurant has an attractive terrace.

Travelling party: Seniors

Mooie ruime en rustige camping. Sympathieke, enthousiaste en behulpzame eigenaren. Ruime plekken met desgewenst zon of schaduw.Pluspunten, het schone sanitair, de mogelijkheid om zelf de temperatuur van je douche in te stellen en lekker heet water om de afwas mee te doen. Heel bijzonder was de broodservice, elke ochtend stipt om 8.15 uur werd het brood bij de caravan bezorgd

Liked - Het was een fijne plek, maar wel wat vergane glorie.
De omgeving is heel mooi en weids.
Disliked - De douches waren heel krap en gedateerd. Het is allemaal wat simpel en de animatie was minimaal.
De voorzieningen zijn niet allemaal zoals je zou verwachten aan de hand van de site.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - Erg aardige beheerders, attent en heel behulpzaam. De man is zelfs voor mij een nieuwe auto accu gaan kopen en halen 11 km verderop. Camping is vriendelijk en met ruime plaatsen, veelal onder de bomen. Fijn zwembadje en speeltuin met trampoline. Omgeving heeft een mooi landschap. De beste plekken zijn toch die zonder electra: veel ruimte en je staat in het gras in plaats van in de zompige humusmodder
Disliked - Veel heel kleine kinderen, dus een hoop herrie. Maar als je zelf kleine kinderen hebt is dat prima. Weinig wat oudere kinderen. Omdat het veel regende stonden we vooral in de zompige modder in het bos, maar daar kan de camping niks aan doen.

Liked - Persoonlijk contact met de eigenaren in een rustige omgeving waarbij de natuurlijke omgeving centraal staat. Verder doordat camping in bos ligt veel mogelijkheden een plek te zoeken om tot rust te komen.
Disliked - Geen makkelijk toegankelijk en leuk ingerichte bar of restaurant.

Mooie camping maar alles werd teniet gedaan door een trouw feest, zeer luide muziek met zware doordringende bassen van 23:45 - 07:30, hele nacht niet geslapen, andere campinggasten hebben ook geen oog dicht kunnen doen.

Liked - Geweldige bosrijke gemoedelijke camping, fijn sanitair, ideale kinderbadkamer, veel peuters op het park, fijn spelen in het bos, heerlijk diep zwembad en fijn kinderbadje.
Disliked - De plekken zijn echt niet vlak. De caravan was niet waterpas te krijgen. Hoewel de camping vrij leeg was en we een plek mochten kiezen konden we geen echt geschikte plek vinden voor onze caravan. Dus prima camping voor tent of vouwwagen, maar als je met caravan breng extra materiaal mee om de caravan recht te zetten.
