Camping La Vallée de l'Indre is a true oasis of peace and quiet and countryside, located on the banks of River Indre. This exceptional location offers stunning views and the possibility to enjoy the natural beauty of the Loire Valley. It is a region also known as 'the garden of France' due to the many (botanical) gardens. Located at only a few kilometres south of the iconic city of Tours, it is the ideal place for a relaxing stay with family, friends or as a couple.

Pleasant camping pitches

The camping pitches at the campsite are spacious, some are demarcated by bushes and there are both shaded and sunny options. In terms of size, the camping pitches vary from 40 m² (specially for hikers, cyclists and motorbike riders) to 100 m², and you can choose a pitch with or without electricity. Furthermore, you can pick from mobile homes in various sizes with air-conditioning or for a chalet or bungalow tent.

Activities at and around the campsite

At the campsite, guests can relax by the heated swimming pool that is open from mid-June to mid-September. Furthermore, there are various sports and games facilities, including tennis, miniature golf, and volleyball and badminton courts. There is a playground and skate park for the children.

One of the campsite's highlights is the dance party held every Sunday afternoon in the large hall next to the campsite. For culinary enthusiasts, there is a restaurant next to the campsite with a vast choice and a charming patio with parasols.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Een mooi gelegen camping in een mooie omgeving. Keurig sanitair, prima zwembad en genoeg vermaak voor kinderen in de speeltuin. Wel rumoerig, deels doordat er veel mensen deze camping als passantencamping gebruiken, waardoor het \'s ochtends lawaaiig is, \'s avonds komt het geluid van de naastgelegen horeca. In de omgeving is het kasteel van Montbazon absoluut het bezoeken waard. Op loopafstand van de camping, echt een belevenis, zowel voor volwassenen als voor kinderen.

Een mooie camping in een prachtige omgeving. Je voelt je welkom op de camping met vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren die goede service bieden. Sanitaire voorzieningen zijn heel goed en de plaatsen zijn behoorlijk groot, desgewenst met schaduw. De ligging is perfect vlakbij het centrum van Montbazon met diverse restaurants en winkels. Er is ook een prima restaurant naast de camping. Een aanrader dus!

Travelling party: Couple

Heel goede camping qua prijs-kwaliteit. Er is duidelijk werk van gemaakt om deze plek weer in orde te krijgen. Personeel vriendelijk en correct. Sanitair goed onderhouden, voldoende en voldoende ruim. In laagseizoen is er geen brood te krijgen, maar op nog geen kilometer is er een supermarkt en de dorpswinkeltjes zijn ook vlakbij. Er is ook een bar en restaurant vlakbij de ingang van de camping. Excellent voor een passage, maar goed genoeg om een paar dagen langer te blijven.

Travelling party: Seniors

Per 2019 nieuwe eigenaar, van beoordelingen daarvoor klopt niets meer. Prima sanitair, zeer goed schoongemaakt, met wc papier, zeep en handdoekjes. Mooie ruime plaatsen, tuinman doet zijn werk goed. In oktober betaalden we 34,44 euro voor 2 nachten. Zwembad was gesloten. Mooi uitgangspunt voor bezoek aan de Loire streek, kastelen. Receptie gesloten tussen 12 en 14 uur. Dan kun je niet op de camping als je nieuw aankomt. Je krijgt sleutel voor poort. Eruit kun je altijd, geen sleutel nodig. Al met al prima camping.

Gastvrije ontvangst door jonge eigenaars in vloeiend Engels of Frans!
Prima modern en schoon sanitair.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Wir nutzten diesen Campingplatz zur Zwischenübernachtung. Verkehrsgünstig gelegen, größerer Supermarkt in der Nähe.
Der Platz machte einen rundherum guten Eindruck, wir werden diesen sicherlich wieder besuchen. Gute Ausgangslage zur Besichtigung von Tours sowie einiger Loire Schlösser.

De camping maakt een erg verkommerde en slecht onderhouden indruk. Gras is onvoldoende gemaaid, veel onkruid. Plantenbakken leeg of vol onkruid. Zwembad is helemaal groen van de alg en stinkt kan niet gebruikt worden terwijl het 30 graden is. Overal onaffe projecten en restanten bouwmaterialen, wc, doucheruimtes,verlichting, afvoer, ontbrekende kranen, lantaarns etc. etc. Tarieven van 2016 en 2018 bij de receptie. Prachtige grote plekken, onder mooie grote bomen( die ook gesnoeid moeten worden) bij leuk klein plaatsje , rivier en mooi park. Alles in potentie aanwezig om er een prachtige camping van te kunnen maken maar ....... dat lukt al jaren niet ! Geen drie sterren.
