Liked - Quiet location but close to Blois for visiting. Lovely pool. Friendly and helpful receptionist.
Disliked - It took a while to find chemical WC disposal so a site map would have helped.
Liked - Lovely all around, the place with everything you need, a paradise for young children and very relaxing for parents. Easy to just use many of the free amenities and offers on site or explore the Loire area. Highly recommend!
Liked - Friendly staff and clean accommodation
Liked - Loved the relaxed vibe and the large pitches! Lovely site :)
Liked - The pool, park, trees and size of the pitch. It is a very beautiful campsite and a good size. There is a good information facility. Staff were friendly. There are lots of things to entertain children and the area is great.
Disliked - The showers are awful (no pressure and cold) and the pizzas in the bar are pretty bad! It was hard to book an activity as they were all booked a few days in advance. The small animals are not kept well...there are too many animals in one cage and this was upsetting. Communication before the visit was difficult...it takes a long time for staff to reply to emails sometimes.
Liked - Being able to pitch on a field with a lovely view gave us a real outdoor camping experience. You can feed or just visit a wonderful bunch of horses donkeys goats sheep and a pig in 2 fields feeding them apples from the Orchard trees in the site, forage in the forest or do activities like walks and actuvities in the main site. Small pool. Table tennis, some activities like bread making. A wonderful experience suitable for all ages.
Disliked - Fairly dated facilities and some of the showers don't work well but we soon found showers that do work and there was plenty of hot water.
Liked - Pitch was lovely and big enough for the kids to cycle around. Activities are excellent, but all in French. Our children’s (and mine) French was not good enough to understand all of the great educational activities. A handout in other languages would have helped us make our children’s time more engaging. French pools are always a bit cooler than UK, and this is no exception. However the poolside is a very rough so bring poolside shoes. Sports day is excellent.
Disliked - Kids activities run about twice daily Monday to Friday only as the French guests normally change over at the weekends. We arrived mid-week and struggled to book into the activities as some were full. The wonderful reception staff, especially Marine, were great about adding us in but booking in advance may help as the children loved the activities.
Liked - Amazing campsite - very friendly staff, and great activities for the kids (farm animals/petting rabbits etc/..., table football, table tennis) , nice (if cold!) pool, nice bar area with good simple food, good spacious pitches, beautiful scenery.
Overall - the perfect balance: a relaxed quiet campsite, with all mod cons.
Liked - Our kids loved the pool, play areas, bouncy castles, and the animals.
The camp had a very safe feel to it, fellow campers were very respectful to one another and the silence rule was adhered to.
Disliked - There was no soap in the toilets. This is a huge concern in a campsite.
Liked - Tiki bar had excellent food and drinks. Pitches large and flat for tents. Plenty of hot water. We all loved the table tennis and table football :-) Lots if freedom for the kids.
Disliked - A couple of showers needed fixing but there were always lots to choose from
