In the south of the French Ardennes, walking distance from Buzancy, you'll find Flower Camping La Samaritaine. Here you'll find an oasis of rest and relaxation and a wonderfully maintained site with lovely campsites in a parklike environment. The campground is located on a stream and swimming pond with a beach in a hilly region with wonderful views.

Privacy and shade

There are lovely spacious campsites on the campground that are easy to reach. For campers, there are paved spaces with a great deal of shade. There is a great deal of privacy because the sites are separated. You can choose a sunny site or shady area. There are a few mobile homes and bungalow for hire on the campground.

Entertainment

Because there is a great deal offered for children, the campground is popular with families. In the high season there is an activities programme at least twice a week. In the low season, it is popular with seniors travelling with campers or caravans.

There is a limited selection available in the campground shop, but there are local products for sale. Fresh bread is delivered in the morning by order. You can get snacks, ice cream and take away meals in the weekend at the chip shop on the campground. The villagers also frequent it.

Natural swimming pool

Nearby there is a pond with a "natural swimming pool", with a grass and sandy beach and a sunbathing area. There is play equipment on the sandy beach. There is a bouncy castle and a trampoline.

Lawn mower races

In addition to the table tennis table and the jeu-de-boules pitch, you can also take part in the activities programme (high season). For example there are running races and lawn mower races organized.

Travelling party: Couple

Small friendly campsite with well laid out pitches divided by hedges and most with shade. Very helpful pleasant staff. Fritterie on site open each night except Tuesday. Good showers with hot water. Swimming lake with children’s section and shady picnic area. Good value .

Lovely site on the edge of a small village which you could walk into. Pitches were a great size separated by hedges. Lovely walks for the dogs around the pond and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We would definitely return if in the area in future.

Disliked - Way too many noisy children for us.
We were pitched right next to the children’s playground with trampoline.
Very late when children went to bed.
