The river Meuse meanders in the north of France through the Champagne-Ardenne region. The green hills and narrow roads are an invitation to go on sporty cycling trips. Grazing white cows will gaze at you, and every now and then the crews of passing boats and anglers on the banks will cast you a glance .. You stay in idyllic surroundings like these when you have a booking at Camping Les Bateaux, located in Revin.

Spacious pitches

If it is not too busy on the campsite, you may be able to choose your own nice and spacious pitch. The pitches are square with hedges on three sides and a power pole on the side of the paved road. Tall weeping willows and other deciduous trees create an impression of camping in a forest. You can also hire one of the four mobile homes.

Simplicity prevails

The small camping shop has a limited assortment of groceries. On weekday a baker stops by with baguettes, croissants and 'normal' bread. The lack of other amenities is not a problem, as Revin lies within walking distance. There is a small playground for children on the campsite.

Excellent sanitary facilities

There is only one ablution block on the campsite, located next to the reception. It is heated, clean and equipped with nice showers. There are also facilities for disabled persons, of course.

Enjoy tasting!

A tasting of regional products is organised on Saturday evenings between 19:00 and 20:00 from mid-July to mid-August.

We waren op doorreis, maar toch voor een tweede overnachting gekozen omdat we langs de maas wilde fietsen. Rustige camping ook al stonden we vlak bij de ingang. De eenpersoons receptie is van 12 tot 16 uur gesloten. Nog even over het sanitair, ik snap niet hoe de vorige beoordelaars het gehad hebben, maar bij de heren waren twee van de drie toiletten afgesloten, en de derde verdiende de naam van toilet niet. De douches waren verschrikkelijk en het schoonmaken van de man van de receptie bestond uit een zwabberij van enkele minuten. Het afval stak een halve meter uit de container. Dit zou zo niet meer voor mogen komen.

Zeer teleurgesteld dat we bij aankomst 4 dagen moesten betalen terwijl we aangeven dat we waarschijnlijk na 3 dagen zouden vertrekken. Tot 3 keer toe is gezegd dat we de 4e dag terug zouden krijgen. Helaas nooit ontvangen. Sanitair was vies. Alleen de vloer werd schoon gemaakt,

Superverblijf gehad, zeer nette en mooie camping. Het sanitair was goed en werd meerdere keren per dag gereinigd. Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam en zeer vriendelijk. Een echte aanrader, prijs kwaliteit was top.

dit zou een mooie camping kunnen zijn. wij hebben er in augustus 2023 voor 3 dagen gestaan. Bij aankomst konden we kiezen uit slechts 2 plekken maar alle dagen dat wij er waren waren er minstens 20 plekken beschikbaar. Het sanitair is verouderd dat is op zich niet erg maar wel dat er in 3 dagen niet is schoongemaakt

Personeel is meer dan vriendelijk op deze gemeente camping. Men is niet meer \"lid\" van ACSI. Het santair is verouderd maar meestal wel schoon. Met betrekking tot wat de inspecteur schrijft; er is een klein speeltuintje, dit speeltuintje bestaat uit welgeteld een wipkip! Van belang is wel de openingstijden. Voor nieuwkomers gaat de slagboom open tussen 9 en 12 uur en tussen 16 en 19 uur.

Vriendelijke ontvangst op een nette en schone camping. Prima plek om in 2 richtingen een fietstocht op een speciaal aangelegd fietspad te maken. Kortom, een aanrader.
