Hidden in the green

Behind the imposing square farmhouse is a flat campsite with beautiful pitches, hidden among the greenery. Le Colombier has 43 touring pitches, most of which are fairly spacious. They are situated on grass, on well-maintained camping fields. The pitches are delimited by hedges, trees and shrubs that offer sufficient peace and privacy. There are four appartments and six rooms in the farmhouse. There are also two lodge tents for rent.

Bakery around the corner

As the campsite is located in the centre of the village of Dienville, you will find various facilities within walking distance. There is a bakery and a supermarket just around the corner. On the campsite itself you can also get fresh bread and some groceries. There is no restaurant, but in the nearby marina you'll find all kinds of cosy restaurants.

Watery nature reserve

The Aube is a slow flowing river, in which you can swim and fish. The wooded campsite is situated on the bank, and has a small beach along the water. You can explore the river by canoe or kayak. The campsite is located in a wetland natural park: Parc Naturel Régional de la Forêt d'Orient. In the nature reserve there are three large reservoirs, where you'll find plenty of water sports and recreation facilities.

Super mooi Domein in mooie omgeving, mooi nieuw sanitair, een van de mooiste wat wij ooit hebben meegemaak. Aardige eigenaar die ook Nederlands praat. Wij verbleven hier 2 nachten, half oktober 2021. De kerk is er tegenover maar wij hadden er geen last van. Gezellig juist. Bakker om de hoek en grote supermarkt op 6 km, 10 min met de auto. In oktober heerlijk rustig. Mooie wandeling gemaakt bij meer. Maar je kan hier ook schitterend fietsen. In een woord: Geweldig een dikke 10

Mooie rustige camping, met ruime plekken. Het sanitair om van te dromen; nieuw en altijd schoon (en ruim voldoende aanwezig). We kregen een aparte sleutel om het babysanitair voor onze 1 jarige dochter te kunnen gebruiken, echt ideaal! Ook echt leuke voorzieningen voor wat oudere kinderen (voetbalkooi, trampoline etc).
De eigenaar is een zeer vriendelijke man, die veel talen spreekt (waaronder Nederlands), die regelmatig een rondje over de camping deed om te horen of alles nog naar wens was. Deze camping is echt een aanrader!

Prachtige camping met heel goed sanitair. Zeer behulpzame en vriendelijke uitbater.
Gelegen in pittoresk klein dorpje. op wandelafstand van de camping liggen er enkele meren waarvan de omgeving gebruikt wordt voor recreatie. Kleine jachthaven hier ook aanwezig.

Gezellige en niet al te grote familiecamping. gemoedelijke sfeer en de eigenaar spreekt Nederlands. De camping is mooi aan de rivier waar je ook nog in kunt zwemmen. De campingplaatsen zijn ruim. Daarnaast zijn wij wezen kanoën wat ook een aanrader is. wij hebben de B route genomen, voor een niet geoefende kanoër goed te doen.

Een plaatje van een camping!
Goed verzorgd (paden, perken, kippen, terras) !
Strenge eis van schoenenwissel voordat je het toiletgebouw betreed, maar dat maakt dat alles super schoon blijft!
Relaxed muziekje in verwarmd sanitairgebouw.
Mooie grote staanplaatsen. Privacy kon wat meer zijn…..
Super hygiënische ruimte om het chemisch toilet te legen.
Wasmachine en drogers aanwezig
Heerlijk gegeten in leuke bistrot op loopafstand.

Mijn vriendin en ik hebben 2 weken gekampeerd op camping Le Colombier. Wij werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar. De eigenaar spreekt vloeiend Frans, Engels en Nederlands en kon ons alle hoogtepunten van de omgeving vertellen. Zijn vrouw, waarmee hij de camping beheert, spreek vloeiend Frans en Engels en weet net zoveel te vertellen over de omgeving.
De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding op deze camping is perfect. De camping is klein, schoon, het toiletgebouw is gloednieuw, om de hoek zit een heerlijke bakker, ligt aan de rivier en bij een recreatie meer en ligt op 45 minuten rijden van Troyes. Ook is er in een dorp verder een fantastisch restaurant waar je voor een erg betaalbare prijs kan genieten van 7 gangen Franse cuisine (La table du 13 bis). De camping biedt gasten de mogelijkheid om te kajakken op zowel het meer als de rivier en daarnaast is het mogelijk om (elektrische) fietsen en mountainbikes te huren.
Het enige nadeel was de grote kerk, gelegen naast de camping. Dagelijks om 7:00 en 23:00 luidt de kerk een paar minuten lang. Dit was best gehorig en wij zijn de eerste paar dagen wakker geworden van het geluid.
Over het algemeen hebben wij een fantastisch verblijf gehad op de camping en heeft de eigenaar een groot aandeel gehad in onze vakantiepret.
Deze camping is een echte aanrader en zeker de moeite waard om langer op te verblijven!

Prachtige camping, prima sanitair, goede wifi op de kampeerplek! Sympathieke enthousiaste eigenaar. Rivier langs de camping groot meer met water recreatie op loopafstand. Bakker om de hoek in het dorp. Een aanrader!
