If you don\'t mind just pitching up and camping rather irregularly, on grass or hardstanding wherevers available, this site will suit you completely. Its an absolute gem as far as we\'re concerned. The facilities are well kept and clean incl: showers, washing cubicles, toilets (with seats), washing up sinks and laundry washing sinks too. All within Langres Medieval City Ramparts. Its a short walk into the centre and right next to the Ramparts circular walk - with the most spectacular views, and references to its UK twin town of Beaconsfield! Expect folk and locals to walk through the site as its a right of way to/from the Ramparts. The Manager, M. Maillot is so exceptionally friendly and helpful, running over to help with pitching if needed. Access to the site is via the Rampart arches which can seem rather intimidating, or as we have done, you can drive through the Place Bel Air car park off N19, which leads you to the Blvd where Navarre is located. We’ve used Campsite Navarre a few times as a brilliant stopover for a couple of nights. In addition we never tire of walking around Langres and discovering new snippets of history. It’ll be on our schedule again.

We agree with other positive comments here - a pleasant site up on the town ramparts that overlooks the surrounding countryside & is just a minute’s walk to the centre - An unexpected discovery! Reception is only manned in the evening so pitch-up & check in later. Grass/some hard-standing pitches are generally level-(ish) but are not delineated, so you may find neighbours parking uncomfortably close, especially on the ‘view’ side (there is a grass-only upper level with views too.) San facs (code entry) are clean & plentiful & puts many larger & expensive sites to shame.
Free wi-fi around reception; Monsieur on reception was friendly & helpful & spoke good English. Still no payment by card tho, but banks are 5 mins away. Could do with more elec points to avoid trailing leads across roadways. We would happily stay here again.

Wonderful place. The site is in an ideal place; the staff are really friendly and helpful; the facilities are great - from the toilets and showers to the pitches themselves or rather simply the ground to camp on. I loved it there.

Brilliant site. clean and efficient. right on the ramparts of the town which I would compare to Sarlat or Carcassonne. Definately in my top 10. loved it. loads of great places to eat within easy walking distance.

Clean and well appointed campsite with professional polite helpful staff. Could do with being upgraded to accept card payment (cash or cheque only accepted), but this was only a small inconvenience in having to walk 5 minutes to a cash till. Great convenient location within the town walls with lovely views across the surrounding countryside.

This is a really exceptional overnight campsite with spaces on the ramparts overlooking the countryside. The showers and toilets are basic but clean and it is exceptional value for money. It is two minutes into the lovely town of Langres. We have used it many times going too and from Calais. I Recommend it.

Good welcome in smart reception from multi-lingual host. Opened at 17.30 but this was at the end of the season. Heated showers which were clean and welcome. Pitches not delineated but plenty of space. Amazing views from the site on ramparts of lovely small town (if it wasn't for the fog). Wish we could have stayed longer but tunnel was booked!
"Neat little campsite, located within the old city walls. Enjoy the panoramic view and with some luck the pleasant sunset. At about 200 metres you will find all shops, bakeries and restaurants."

Follow Langres centre-ville, through Porte des Moulins and then follow campsite signs. Do not follow any other road due to very narrow streets in town.
