"Neat little campsite, located within the old city walls. Enjoy the panoramic view and with some luck the pleasant sunset. At about 200 metres you will find all shops, bakeries and restaurants."

We have regularly used this site for many years. The sanitary facilities are excellent and are well maintained.
Many of the places on the site give excellent views over the countryside from the prominent plateau position.
The pitches on the site are not defined, and one simply chooses a place to suit. Some positions may demand an extended electricity lead.
The site manager is very helpful and efficient and is present in the evening. Prior to his presence, one simply selects a suitable position on the site, and registers in the evening.

The setting for the campsite and its relaxed attitude to finding a space and parking up is great.

If you don\'t mind just pitching up and camping rather irregularly, on grass or hardstanding wherevers available, this site will suit you completely. Its an absolute gem as far as we\'re concerned. The facilities are well kept and clean incl: showers, washing cubicles, toilets (with seats), washing up sinks and laundry washing sinks too. All within Langres Medieval City Ramparts. Its a short walk into the centre and right next to the Ramparts circular walk - with the most spectacular views, and references to its UK twin town of Beaconsfield! Expect folk and locals to walk through the site as its a right of way to/from the Ramparts. The Manager, M. Maillot is so exceptionally friendly and helpful, running over to help with pitching if needed. Access to the site is via the Rampart arches which can seem rather intimidating, or as we have done, you can drive through the Place Bel Air car park off N19, which leads you to the Blvd where Navarre is located. We’ve used Campsite Navarre a few times as a brilliant stopover for a couple of nights. In addition we never tire of walking around Langres and discovering new snippets of history. It’ll be on our schedule again.
** Amenities in bold we know are not included in the overnight price and that there will be additional charges for them. Please note that some non-bold amenities may also incur additional costs.

Follow Langres centre-ville, through Porte des Moulins and then follow campsite signs. Do not follow any other road due to very narrow streets in town.
