Camping Le Lac de la Liez is locate in the Champagne-Ardennes in France, at the edge of the lake of Liez. The campground is easily accessible from the N19 (toward Vesoul) and is used by many holidaymakers as a transit point toward the South of France or Spain. The hilly area of the plateau of Langres is covered with trees, forests, streams and lakes where you will lose yourself in an oasis of peace. Want it a little more lively? Visit the fortress town of Langres, with its historic centre and monumental buildings.

Camping on the lake

The campground is located on a hill on the lake of Liez. By the terrace design of the campground, nearly every campsite has a view of the water. The campsites of varying sizes can be called lovely, and the campground looks well maintained.

In addition to the open campsites for your tent, camper or caravan, there is also an option to hire a (safari) tent, chalet, trailer or lodge.

Stairway to the water

Because the camping is used for longer stays as well as for a transit stay to the south, there is great diversity among the guests. Water lovers will love the heated indoor or outdoor pools (with slide and jacuzzi), and you have a panoramic view of the lake of Liez below. Take a (narrow and steep) stairway down to the lake, and there is plenty to experience. Stretch out on the sandy beach, take a refreshing dip in the water, hire a waterbike or take sailing and surfing lessons.

Liked - Nice, clean and tidy facility. Could pre-order fresh bread. As we only stayed 1 night (arrived very late due to traffic jams) we didn’t explore everything on site.
Disliked - Easy booking, but very difficult to contact the reception to announce our late arrival. Too many bushes/branches from trees scratching our camper van on the roof and on the side going to/from our pitch

Liked - Quiet, green place, lake and aqua park are great, Langres very beautiful. It's an unexcited area, very calm and not much tourists for summer. Exactly what we need, as we have an autistic son.
Disliked - Organisation in the restaurant (chaotic), staff there wasn't very friendly.

Liked - Pool area etc
Disliked - Full of flies and ants, disgusting for preparing and cooking food, uncomfortable to sleep. No bedding or towels as required and paid for! Emailed upon our departure but no reply which does not surprise us

Liked - This was a very good campsite.
Disliked - Horses to close to site causing excessive flys. facilities are very stretched could not get in the restaurant because of all the extra eurocamp type pitches. pools overcrowded.

Liked - Friendly staff, clean wash areas, pool was cold, but when the weather was nice a lovely site.
Disliked - Snack and bar area didn't open until 5.00pm.

Liked - mooie camping voor een overnachting. Weg van de snelweg in een prachtige omgeving. Genoten van het strand aan het meer op loopafstand van de camping en een korte wandeling door het prachtige Langres (wel auto nodig ivm afstand te ver om te lopen). Ontvangst was snel en vriendelijk, supermooie gloednieuwe mobilhome. Even kort aan het zwembad gelegen, was ook goed. De reis met onderbreking op deze camping was door het verblijf heel relaxed en gaf meteen een vakantiegevoel.

Liked - Nice pitch with electricity and water and waste water
Nice outside pool
Disliked - Had to pay additional fees twice( for whatever reason it were twice less than 1 Euro). Ver noisy due to dogs not being under control of their owners. Horrible inside pool with lots of molde. Whole place needs refurbishment. Best time were left behind

Disliked - restaurant was under staffed and service was very poor compared to the last three years site has had more placements put in but not upgraded the restaurant staff.
