Liked - It seems like the campground is a place where many people stay just for the night and travel onwards.
We stayed 4 nights and discovered the area. Had a lovely stay, reception staff is very friendly. The town itself has a few beautiful parks, and of course very close to the champagne towns

Liked - Good size pitch
Disliked - Camp has a lot of grape pockets staying ( which we were told about in fairness) but basically meant for the time we were there you were unable to use any shower or toilet facilities after 6pm. They were all friendly but quite noisy!! Think a campsite needs to decide if it is a leisure facility for holiday makers or a accommodation for working teams. The requirements are very different.

Liked - Staff were friendly and the location was good. Better signage for the site would help though.
Disliked - No cold water from tap in shower block, so had to clean teeth in hot water

Liked - We only stayed one night on our way further south but would come back here to explore more. It’s about a 30 min walk in Chalon, which is very pretty with some nice architecture and plenty of places to eat and drink, while people watching. The site is nice and the staff are friendly and helpful. There’s a little bar serving food drinks and ice cream on site and a bakers and small supermarket right opposite the site. Good choice if you’re looking for a stopover or a longer stop.

warm friendly welcome at reception, choose your own pitch and report back. pitches are a good size and reasonably level. quite a few motorhomes and camper vans on site, so a good stop over along our route. Showers and loos are basic, I used our on board facilities, husband used the shower block which was clean but dated and tired.
The site could do with a little tlc, some areas look a little worn, this may be due to the pesky Covid and they need a little time to catch up. not able to comment on the child friendliness, food and drink, entertainment and sports facilities as not applicable and no option to skip
we would stay again if passing through .
