Have visited this camp on five occasions and found it great. Clean cabins,? great pool and sauna.
However the restaurant ( i.e. Cafe) is something else.
I appreciate their is a language barrier but here the customer is never right. We ordered chicken and chips but when it turned up it was cold. Asking if it could be put in a microwave, I was confronted by the chef, who I believe is the owner, who's bullying, threatening behaviour you don't expect anywhere. The only thing he was missing was his kitchen chopper. Told me it was served like that all the time snd that was it. Feeling threatened, we took the food away and heated in in our cabin microwave.
A lovely site with pitches of varying sizes. You choose your own pitch to suit your needs which we liked. The showers are more or less open air which was fine until the weather turned cooler, and we felt that there were not enough WCs for the number of people camping but . facilities were clean. The staff at reception were courteous but could have been more forthcoming about giving information regarding wi-fi, the local area etc. The pool and sauna complex are well kept and the pool is huge. The restaurant was ok and we enjoyed a couple of meals there but not being football fans the ever present World Cup coverage on the tv became tiresome. There are some nice easy walks around the site and there is a train station nearby for visits further afield, including Paris and Versailles. We would most certainly return here as we found the whole experience to be relaxing and enjoyable.
