In the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Narbonnaise, south of Narbonne, is the large family campsite Yelloh! Les Mimosas Village The campsite lies just a few kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea, in amongst vineyards, and surrounded on three sides by canals. You can enjoy yourself for hours in the wellness room, playing in the swimming park, or enjoying one of the many organised activities. There are plenty of opportunities for a day out in the beautiful surroundings. Visit the city of Narbonne, just 6 km away, the Bages-Sigean Lake where you can spot birds and even flamingos, or the Canale de la Robine, which is a World Heritage site.
Bring your own camping equipment, or stay in a rental cottage.
The campsite is flat, and the pitches are whimsically arranged. Some of the pitches are divided by low hedges. You can choose a pitch under the trees with plenty of shade, or just the opposite, a sunny pitch. Holiday rentals are possible at Yelloh! campsite, as well as at Les Mimosas village. You can choose from a large number of mobile homes, cottages and chalets. At this campsite, there are lots of families enjoying the holidays with their children. Playing around and relaxing in the 2000m2 large swimming park is a popular activity for many families. There are three swimming pools, one of which is heated, as well as four pool slides and a whirlpool bath. Activities are organised in the swimming pool too, including water aerobics and games for children. Worked up an appetite from all that fun in the water? At La Paillot, the snack bar next to the pool, you can buy drinks, ice cream, sandwiches and chips.

Directed to an area away from the more permanent pitches apparently designated for tourers. We had been told at reception that the men's side of the toilet block (the one that remained open) had been shut and that we should all use the women's side which was not a problem but in the event, there were only 2 toilet cubicles and 2 showers open for about 10 vans which was insufficient. We felt that we were being offered less facilities as ACSI members, not that we join ACSI in order to expect good facilities at member-prices in low season.
In addition to this, we were bitten by mosquitos and disturbed by the frequent passing trains at the bottom of the site.
Needless to say, we left as soon as we could the next morning. This site rates as the poorest on our 6 weeks in France this year.
bad camping. expensive for this quality
Pitches very poor.pitches are filled with earth and are difficult to access. the roads are bad and it is very difficult with the car or caravan.
ONE WC chemical toilet in all camping.
Arrived having called the previous day and stated that we were 9 m. When we arrived we were shaken heads at! The lovely receptionist was really helpful as was the young lad whose names we didnt get, walked us to the only pitch she had large enough and we had to be off by Friday! This was no problem as we had planned to stay till then originally. After pitching on a level spot, We had a walk round and the facilities seemed very clean and organised. We also appeared to have arrived at the "butlins" of France! Activities all over, organised entertainment every hour of the day - which is great if you are looking for that type of holiday. There is no mention of the nearby train track, which seem to be more regular than the entertainment! We left after 1 night, it wasn't our thing, but Anne on reception is FABULOUS and went seriously out of her way to help us as we left. All Staff were fantastic without exception, if you want family and organised, with entertainment this is the place :)
Surrounding poor because of mosquitos. Although they spray the marshes the campsite does not do any thing. The mossies just move on to the campsite. Black clouds of them, you get eaten alive.
