Les Chênes campsite is located in a wooded area in the rugged countryside of the Gard. This well-maintained family campsite is a suitable destination for the whole family. You'll camp on shady pitches under oak trees, on a quiet campsite with an outdoor swimming pool.

Camping among the oak trees

On the campsite there is room for about seventy touring pitches. These well-maintained pitches are playfully laid out between the many oak trees. The trees form the natural delimitation of the pitches, while their low hanging branches provide nice shady spots. Which is very pleasant during the hot summer days in the south of France. You can also book one of the gypsy caravans or mobile homes.

Swimming pool in the sun

The swimming pool, situated in the middle of the campsite, is not particularly large, but it is a nice place for a cooling dip. The swimming pool is situated in an a sunny area. Luckily the surrounding trees provide some shade. Next to the swimming pool is a small paddling pool with a slide. For sunbathing there are the sun loungers.

Playing outside

On the campsite children can play outside, without a busy entertainment team or organised activities. A trampoline, various playground equipment, sports fields and a bouncy castle are ready for young camping guests. And of course, the swimming pool is also an important source of entertainment.

Shopping

For fresh bread, an ice-cream or a snack you can go to the campsite shop at the reception or to the snack bar. And for the daily groceries you don't have to go very far: within a ten minute drive you're in Sommières, where you’ll find several supermarkets.

Liked - We hebben drie nachten gestaan op deze leuke kleine camping die net is overgenomen door Julien en zijn partner. De kleinschaligheid met toch ook goede faciliteiten zoals een mooi zwembad en prettig sanitair maakte het een prima verblijf. Vooral voor gezinnen met jonge kinderen een prima plek vlakbij Sommieres. Ook de persoonlijke aandacht en behulpzaamheid is top.

Liked - Uitstekende camping voor gezin met jonge kinderen. Nieuwe camping eigenaren waarvan één van de twee Engels spreekt. Gezellig terrasje, goede wijn en een eenvoudige maar goed toereikende menukaart.
Zwembad en openbaar sanitair netjes en schoon. Camping heeft een positieve updat gehad.

Liked - Auf der Durchreise nach Barcelona haben wir zwei Nächte den Campingplatz als Basis für den Besuch von Nimes genutzt. Der Stellplatz war sehr gut und die Einrichtungen sauber und praktisch. Vielleicht lag es daran, dass nicht so viel los war, aber im Vergleich mit anderen Plätzen gab es zwei Vorteile: Seife an den Waschbecken und Toilettenpapier. Die musikalische Abendveranstaltung war nicht so unseres, aber Geschmäcker sind verschieden. Toll, dass sich die Betreiber mit dem abwechselnden Unterhaltungsprogramm so viel Mühe geben. Der Campingplatz ist eine Empfehlung wert. Danke!
