Camping Le Mouretou is a small-scale campsite in the Cevennes National Park. This campsite is situated in the valley of the river Hérault. You will camp on intimate lawns that offer a view of the surrounding mountains. The Mont Aigoual, whose summit is thirty kilometres from the campsite, is the highest mountain in the Gard department. A climb of the mountain (by car or bicycle) pays off, because the view is beautiful.

Intimate camping lawns

The campsite Le Mouretou is situated on a branch of the Hérault. A murmuring brooklet flows along the campsite. There are 25, large enough, touring pitches situated on intimate camping fields. This gives you the real camping feeling: camping in nature and in peace and quiet. The rental accommodations can be called quite special. In addition to mobile homes, there are a number of attractive lodge tents and bivouac tents on stilts.

Swimming pool and river

The swimming pool is situated near the entrance of the campsite, in a sheltered spot between shrubs, hedges and trees. This outdoor pool is not large, but large enough for a small-scale campsite. For the children it is also nice to walk to the river. Within a few steps you are at the quietly flowing water, where you can paddle or build dams.

Pizza

You'll find conviviality and and good food in the campsite's restaurant. The professionalism and good food is shown by the fact that this restaurant is also used for weddings and parties. Take a seat in the attractive restaurant or on the spacious terrace for a pizza from the wood-burning oven and a large ice cream.

Les emplacements sont suffisamment grands et ombragés.
Les sanitaires très propres
Le point d eau du Mouretou tres agréable
A proximité du depart de la randonnée des 4000 marches pour le mont Aigoual
Et cerise sur le gâteau, tres bon restaurant, on conseille le filet de bœuf vraiment délicieux

Disliked - Les emplacements en haut du camping sont vraiment à éviter d une part ils n ont pas le charme de tous le reste du camping mais surtout très bruyant : restaurant jusqu’à parfois 2 :00circulation piscine poubelles ..:

Liked - Accueil convivial, cadre verdoyant, très arboré alors évidemment ombragé, le petit ruisseau qui court dans le camping, très agréable voilà pour le côté hébergement, côté restaurant, belle terrasse couverte, côté jardin une terrasse enherbée, sympa, dans l'assiette c'est généreux, très bon et bien cuisiné, très bon moment. Ah!! j'allais oublier, au bout du camping coule l'Hérault à ce stade c'est un ruisseau de montagne alors l'apéro, les pieds dans l'eau ou assis avec les amis(ies), sur les rochers, à la tomber du soir..... c'est magique!!!
