People who are into real camping should go to Camping Beauregard Plage. The focus of this camping site is on real camping in a natural environment and there is no rental accommodation. The camping site lies directly along a fine sandy beach, which can be accessed via its own path at the far end of the camping site. Outside the camping site you find charming little shops on the boulevard and cosy terraces where you can get a drink and a bite to eat.
Respect for nature
When you turn the corner of the busy boulevard in the direction of Camping Beauregard Plage, you imagine yourself instantly in nature. The abundant greenery, including the large pine trees and the naturally laid out camping pitches on either sand or grass, creates a pleasant atmosphere on the camping site.
On Camping Beauregard Plage you will not find mobile homes or any other rental accommodation. All the available space is allocated to the genuine camper who likes to spend their holidays with their tent, caravan or camper van. This is reflected in the camping pitches, which measure at least 80m2. There is a wide choice of pitches with a lot or a with little shade. Whatever your preference. At the reception you can rent a fridge, if you wish.
Enjoy the small things in life
The camping site is not excessively lavish. There is no entertainment or swimming pool. It will therefore become apparent that you have fellow campers who enjoy nature, the surroundings and the small things of life, like the warm sand between your toes or the sound of birdsong.

This is a beautiful campsite with an exit directly onto a wonderful sandy beach and the nearest to the town of Marseillen Plage. The camp is well maintained and particular attention is given to supporting local wildlife, including birds, reptiles and insects. Very friendly and helpful reception on arrival. We could only stay for 3 nights but would have happily stayed a lot longer.
We initially pulled into a 5* site but it was way to boisterous for us ( think Blackpool on steroids). Maybe if you have children you would have a different perspective. We then found this site, no water flumes etc just a lovely peaceful site with lovely gardens and next to the beach. The reception was very helpful as were the security guys. We both loved this site. I marked the sports facility’s 3* as there are none to talk of and the same for food and drink although the restaurant on the beach is suppose to be good. This is a proper campsite and next time we come back to this area we will use this site.
We have used this site many times over the last 10 years and it has seen many improvements in that time both in amenities and ambience
We have visited Marseillan Plage on many occasions but this was our first time at Beauregard Plage ~ we stayed for nine nights but it may have been more had the weather been more settled. The standard ACSI "class" pitches were mostly long and narrow ~ and so we paid an extra 6 euros per night on top of the ACSI rate for one of Beauregard's designated "large" pitches. It was OK - a pleasant site, by the Med and close to the vibrant town - what more could we ask for? Easy access to the beautiful sandy beach. The toilets and showers were kept very clean. The restaurant has a good reputation but we did not use it. The site maintenance was excellent and the office staff were most pleasant and helpful.
Spent a great time here without moving far. Immaculate sanitaires, helpful staff. Shop outside gate provides the best baguettes and rose wine. Must return next year.
We have stayed on this site over the last 6 years and will definitely go again. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Beach access is excellent and the swimming is safe.Although the restaurant has superb views over the beach we thought it expensive and the service unfriendly. Fortunately there is a large selection of excellent restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The site is quiet and has very good facilities which are kept clean.
Lovely position next to great beach plenty going on around and lovely view from bar. Sea was spot on we could walk in 2 minutes and be in village in 3.
We stayed here for two weeks in June and will definitely go back. Good facilities, friendly staff, direct access to the beach and right next to the town with its shops and restaurants. Pitch sizes are variable and we had one of the smaller ones, but it was still adequate for our caravan (shipping length 7.2 metres), porch awning and car. Whilst we stayed in low season I would think that the resort could get quite lively and noisy in high season.
What a find!! We were not expecting too much on the coast, but this site was perfect for us. The staff are really friendly and bi-lingual and keen for you to have a good holiday. Emplacements are big and most have a good covering of grass. Toilets are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Although the site does not have a pool, it has direct access to the best beach on the Med. The village centre is right on your doorstep, with a good selection of bars, restaurants, and shops. It is a great base for walkers and cyclists alike with well laid out paths to Marseillan Ville, which has a beautiful old port, Sete, which is like a French Venice, and the southern end of the Canal Du Midi.
Lovely campsite with a very welcoming flower filled entrance. The staff were always helpful and pleasant and multi lingual.
Pitches have enough trees to provide shady spots if you get tired of the sun.
The big plus for this site is the easy access to one of the finest streaches of beaches we have ever seen; and that includes some in Australia.
Loads of restaurants and cafes serving very good food, so you will be spoilt for choice. The bread from the shop (Les Airettes) opposite the site is as good as we have tasted in France.
There is also great cycling from the site either to Marseillan or better still out to Sete through the dunes.
