Nature plays a leading role in the French region of Hérault, north-west of the city of Béziers. Les Cerisiers du Jaur campsite, a green paradise in the Jaur valley, is situated in the heart of the Haut-Languedoc nature regional park. Dotted in the enchanting environment are a number of characteristic French villages to enhance a visit to this region. This diverse region of the Languedoc-Rousillon is also well suited to be explored by bicycle or on foot.
The camping pitches are distributed between the old and the new sections of the campsite. The majority is bordered by green hedges and equipped with electricity and water connections. Sufficient choice for a place in the shade. The old section of the campsite in particular is surrounded by trees, plants and shrubs. Rental accommodation is available in various types and sizes, from modern furnished mobile homes to wooden bungalows with partially covered verandas.
Swimming pool, river, lake or sea
For the swimming enthusiasts, Les Cerisiers du Jaur Campsite is definitely the place to be. On the campsite but also beyond, campers have a choice of various waters. In the centre of the camping grounds is a playful swimming pool, which can be accessed via a wide flight of stairs. Infants and toddlers have their own dedicated section of the pool. The river with private beach is also popular with the guests. The area at the dam is an ideal playground for children. Beyond the campsite are two beautiful lakes: Lake Vesoles and Lake la Raviège. Furthermore, the coast is some 50 km away near Béziers.

Rural campsite in lovely area. Good facilities, sanitary arrangements all new and modern. Welcoming staff, bread to order, good walking nearby.

Liked - The site is beautiful, the days were sunny and hot, the nights were crisp and fresh. The swimming pool has lovely calming views and the river and waterfall were great for our 5 year old daughter.
Liked - Great site with friendly and professional staff ! First campsite in a while where I didn't need to wear a silly bracelet! Lots of shade to enjoy by the river and on the different pitches! Beautiful walks and plenty of activities to do in the area!
Disliked - The swimming pool was slightly small for my teenagers and most people there had young children so they were not that impressed but they enjoyed the opportunities the area offered!.
Liked - Location, friendly staff, nice pitch
Disliked - Toilets and showers were dated and there were not enough of them. The pool was rather cold for our children.

- There's not much privacy
- The welcome talk by the older Dutch speaking lady at the reception was a real bad starter. It was slow en long (1/2 hour!) and not very intresting after long travels and family waiting in the car longing to get out and start holidays.
