On the edge of the Cevennes National Park, at the starting point of the Gorges du Tarn, you will find the Municipal de Brouillet campsite. The site is beautifully situated on the banks of the river Jonte. Here you can camp on shady pitches overlooking the surrounding limestone plateaus. The campsite is an ideal starting point to discover the beautiful nature: conquer the rocky Causses on a challenging walk or admire the beauty of the Gorges du Tarn from your canoe.
Camping with mountain view
On the green, playfully landscaped campsite, there are some 150 spacious pitches between shrubs and in the shade of trees. Some of them are situated on the banks of the river. The mobile homes, six in total, are also surrounded by trees. The view from your pitch is beautiful: the wooded mountains with their rocky peaks loom up on both sides of the site.
Camping Municipal de Brouillet attracts a varied camping public. In high season you will find many young families but also senior citizens (especially in low season) are attracted to the campsite. All campers who like a bit of adventure and nature.
Sunny swimming pool
The polygonal swimming pool, with a round paddling pool, is just outside the campsite. This pool is located on a slightly higher part, right out in the sun. A joy to swim in the warm sunshine. Again, the view of the mountains is magnificent. You can only enter the swimming pool area waring a bracelet from the campsite. Of course you can also swim and float in the river.
