Travelling party: Couple
Delightful wooded site, lovely setting. Very helpful staff. Premium per night out of season for riverside pitches, some very small. Long grass on many pitches, including the one reserved for us. We chose another but grass on first one and many others still not cut during our ten days there. Many statics. Very good value.

An absolutly wonderful campsite. The staff could not be more friendly or helpful, the campsite is beautifully presented and maintained, the toilet facilities are spotless, the washing up water really hot and the paella evening was lots of and excellent. To walk straight from the campsite into the really interesting town or onto the banks of the lovely River Dordogne just added to a throroughly enjoyable first, but certainly not last visit.

This is an absolutly lovely campsite. The staff could not be more friendly or helpful, the campsite is beautifully presented and maintained. The toilet facilities are spotless, the washing up water really hot and the paella night (just Euros 9.50) tons of it and well cooked. The swimming pool looked great, just a shame the weather meant we could not make use of it. The town behind is really interesting and to be able to walk straight from the campsite into it or the beautiful Dordogne River bank just added to a wonderful (and certainly not last) visit.

A good stop with goodsized pitches away from the river. A quick stroll into old town from the campsite with shops and bars. Pleasant surroundings . Good clean facilities.

Second visit to this site which is very well run. Pitches are large with plenty of shade, riverside are cramped and to my mind not worth the extra to pay. Facilities are excellent. The staff very friendly and helpful. 5 minute walk into the town for bread and two excellent butchers. Lovely walks from the site and good for bike rides. Supermarket just a short drive away. Thoroughly recommended.

Enjoyed this site very much, no criticisms at all. Note there is an extra charge of €2 to pitch by the riverside (and these pitches seem small). We particularly liked being able to walk so quickly into the medieval town centre.
