Travelling party: Couple

Travelling party: Couple

We found this campsite by chance after not being impressed by another site. As soon as we entered reception we realized it was a happy place by the welcome we received. The weather was not good, we had a lot of rain but we really enjoyed the stay. The small restaurant was good, toilets and washrooms clean. We have hired a Camping car in Canada this site reminded us of that trip being in a pine forest. There are pet donkeys and alpaca’s in a paddock. We had our dog with us and the walk into the village was easy as was the walking round the lake. The river alongside the site was running fast due to the rain and was brown colored due to the peat in the forest. I did not see any beach or place you might swim. It was a great campsite we will visit again.

Lovely friendly couple run this campsite always smiling and very helpful. The site is in a forested area with the vezier river alongside the site. It was almost like being in the Canadian Rockies surrounded by pine trees. The little restaurant was reasonably priced and bread is available to order. A short walk brings you to the village with a super market and restaurants.
The lack of a swimming pool would discourage some folk. The river water is clear but is is stained by the peat of the forest but the river is to shallow to get a decent swim.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Travelling party: Group of friends

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages
