This small-scale campsite has a beautiful view and is situated near the village of the same name, Dun-le-Palestel. As a sparsely populated area, the Creuse region has a great deal in store for lovers of freedom and nature. One big advantage is that all kinds of cycling and walking routes start from the campsite.

Plenty of space

On the clear and open field, you will find forty pitches without demarcation of an exceptionally large size. Some places are at least partly shaded, and there are also saplings that will provide additional shelter. At the edge, against the forest, are two spacious tunnel tents and two new safari tents.

Swimming with a view

The compact pool is set up on the edge of the property, overlooking the trees and the adjacent meadow. Around the pool, you can lie back and relax. There is also a table tennis table, a trampoline and a playground with a sandbox for the children to enjoy themselves.

Table d'hôte and more

The cozy bistro hosts parties no less than six nights a week. For example, a pizza night and a weekly barbecue buffet are scheduled. Every day, you can pick up fresh pizzas to eat with a nice drink at the tent or caravan.

Truly relaxing

In Camping Dun-le-Palestel, children will find a nice and safe place to play outside with friends. If your dog is coming camping with you, the stretch of forest near the campsite is an ideal place for a runaround. You can play a game of bocce on the renovated court. And during the cosy music night, you can sing along loudly with chansons sung by a local artist.

Mooie camping , groen. Prima restaurant met niet al te moeilijke en culinaire gerechten. Jammer maar 3 toiletten. En 5 douchen. Eigenaren super vriendelijk. Mooie omgeving met Limoges en oradour-sur-lane op een uurtje rijden. Heel goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Prachtige, overzichtelijke en rustgevende camping, de jonge eigenaars zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Mooie fiets omgeving dus voor ons was dit een aanrader.

Mooie omgeving om enkele dagen te kamperen. Rustige camping. Goede ontvangst.
Minpunt was voor ons het sanitair, zag er niet recent gereinigd uit aangezien er massa spinnenwebben te zien waren. Naar coronamaatregelen kon het beter, ingesloten afwasplaats,beperkte mogelijkheden om het sanitair en handen te ontsmetten. Daar kan zeker aan gewerkt worden!

Kleine ruime camping net buiten het dorp. Vriendelijk ontvangst door de eigenaresse. We mochten zelf een plaatsje uitzoeken. De plaatsjes zijn groot met een stroomaansluiting van 10 ampere. Wij hadden een plaatsje uitgezocht met een prachtig uitzicht over het glooiende/heuvelachtige landschap. Vanaf ons plekje hadden we een redelijk ontvangst van de gratis wifi waarop we zelfs (via onze provider) tv konden kijken op de laptop. Het sanitair was voor de helft vernieuwd en werd goed schoongehouden. De Nederlandse eigenaars zijn pas een paar jaar bezig met deze camping. Het eten op de camping was goed voor redelijke prijs. We zijn 3 dagen gebleven.

Vriendelijke ontvangst door eigenaren Alex en Sandra. We hebben hier 1 week gestaan, eind augustus begin september. Camping ligt mooi en heeft zeer ruime plaatsen. Sommige plaatsen zijn vrij schuin. Als het niet te vol staat heb je een mooi uitzicht. Sanitair is bij een volle bezetting te beperkt. Toiletten zijn vernieuwd en met toiletpapier. Douches zijn gedateerd, maar vernieuwing staat volgens Alex de komende winter op het programma. Het zwembadje is piepklein. Te weinig waterpunten. Eten kun je goed op de camping. In de omgeving is weinig te beleven. Fietsen zonder ondersteuning is het moeilijk te doen.

Liked - Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren , super schoon sanitair ruime plaatsen voorzien van stroom en water dichtbij. Elke dag vers brood te bestellen en 2 keer per week verse pizza heerlijk was dat
Disliked - Inde toekomst zou het mischien handig zijn als er een klein camping winkeltje zou zijn voor een fles drinken pakje boter enz.

Liked - Mooie camping, goed onderhouden. Geweldige service ! Erg genoten van de table haute. Hele aardige en gezellige camping eigenaren. Niets is hun teveel.
Disliked - Sanitair, weliswaar prima en schoon, maar wanneer de camping vol is, hopelijk dan wat uitgebreider sanitair erbij!
