This modest, attractive camping site is situated in a non-touristy, green and hilly area in the town of Liverdun, north-west of the interesting city of Nancy. The site of Les Boucles de la Moselle is beautifully situated on a loop of the Moselle, next to a sports and recreational field. You have a lovely view of the castle of the medieval Liverdun.
This is a former municipal camping site, extensively renovated by the Quinot family and lovingly managed by them. You will notice straight away that the owners have implemented several original ideas, for instance a lowered desk for disabled persons. The camping site makes a well maintained impression.
Where is your pitch?
The 178 touring pitches are fairly spacious (70-90 m2), non-demarcated and have a grass surface. The paths running alongside are not hardened with gravel, but are made of loamy sand. The trees offer a fair degree of shade. The grounds have been partly raised. There are separate pitches for the disabled and there are four rental accommodation units.
There is a small, oval-shaped, sunny swimming pool (water at chest height) on the camping site, safely fenced-off. Cyclists and mountain bikers are pampered here with special facilities (bike rental and a breakdown service point). Walkers and other nature lovers will also spend a wonderful holiday here. There is playground equipment for the little ones and nearby sports facilities.
Making dinner or going out?
When you want to do your own cooking, you can get your supplies in the small camping site shop. Expect a limited range. However, fresh bread is available on a daily basis. There is a small restaurant, with breakfast service, a bar and a cosy terrace.

Stayed for two nights summer of 2019. Generous pitches with chances of shade and sun depending on what you need. Nice swimming pool but hard to use if you’re a kid and cant really swim. Excellent staff! Superfriendly and helpful. Everything felt clean and well maintained. The view from the site is great with a castle and big forrests. Nice surroundings witha fish filles river and a medival town.
Minus side was that there was a demolition of an old building next door and for some reason french constriction workers start working at 22:00 just to annoy you as you’re going to sleep. Also the trains pass quite close to site and they also for some reason felt a need to sound the whistle when passing the campsite. So not exactly evening calm after 22:00 but it was alright.
Liked - Excellent ,very surprised it was rated as a two star site deserves a higher rating .
Liked - Clean camping, friendly crowd, nice region

Liked - Nice big pitches, choice of shade or sun. Two toilet blocks.
Disliked - Would suggest you add hand dryers to toilet blocks, as this would cut down on the use of toilet paper. Could do with more information as to how to get to town using the short cut & that you sell the train tickets
Liked - Very nice camp site. The proprietor and his staff were very friendly and wonderful.
Lovely position by Moselle and easy to travel to Nancy. Village pretty and campsite right by river with easy walking
Liked - The site was very clean and quiet. I liked the way campers could set up in between trees so it felt very country side camping which we loved. There was plenty of room. Would definately recommend and stay again.
Disliked - Nothing was brilliant place to stay.
