Camping Les Bouleaux is located in the village of Vilsberg, between the Parc Naturel Régional des Vosges du Nord and the "rest" of northeast France. Here, you'll camp with Remco and Sandy, who run Les Bouleaux with their twins.

An oasis of peace and quiet

The owners say about their campground: "it is a quiet, green family campground." It's true. It is located in the midst of nature with lovely views from your camping pitch, which is always at least 100 m2. There is a wonderful peace, which is "disrupted" in the mornings by the tweeting birds that wake you. In this way, nature lovers and peace seekers have the very best. Tent campers have the most beautiful sites at the edge of a forest. There are two mobile homes, a wooden chalet and two CosoSweet glamping tents for hire.

Play meadow and fresh bread

For children, there are many play options at Les Bouleaux, there is a play meadow with a teeter-totter, trampoline, swing and a climbing frame. One of the two swimming pools is especially for the little ones. The water in the largest pool is heated. There is no campground shop, but you can order fresh bread rolls. You can buy a snack, ice cream or a drink at the bar. You'll find shops in Phalsbourg, two kilometres away from the campground.

The largest ship elevator in Europe

You can take many excursions from the campground. Such as to the "Route du Plan incliné" at Saint-Louis-Arzviller, a 15-minute drive away. There is a 45-metre lift that enables boats to bypass the 17 locks in the Marne-Rhine Canal.

Liked - Mooie omgeving. Vanalles te doen ook voor de kids.
Disliked - Na een regenperiode blijft het lang nat. Drainage zou wenselijk zijn.

Liked - De aardige opgewekte eigenaren geven de camping een hele fijne sfeer. Een weliswaar een wat krap zwembad maar zeer goed onderhouden en schoon evenals overig sanitair. Heerlijke broodjesservice en alles wat je wilt weten en vragen krijg je bij de receptie antwoord.
Disliked - Alhoewel de camping prachtig ligt moet je voor de startpunten voor wandelroutes eerst met de auto om elders te starten. Verder zijn er genoeg leuke korte uitstapjes en op zo een 4 km. afstand liggen de supermarkten alhoewel je op de camping ook kunt eten. Lekkere maar eenvoudige maaltijden voor een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

Liked - Remco en Sandy geven je een welkom gevoel. Zeer enthousiast en lief voor de kinderen. Het is geen luxe camping maar de gemoedelijkheid compenseert dat ruimschoots.
Disliked - De herendouche werd niet warm maar dat zou snel opgelost worden.
Er is geluid van helicopters en tgv hoorbaar tot 23.00 uur. Daarna is alles rustig.

Liked - Een heerlijk verblijf aan de rand van de Vogenzen en Elzas. We hebben genoten van de camping. De verse broden 's ochtends vroeg maakte elke dag tot een goede start.
Disliked - Het verwarmde zwembad was niet warmer dan 22-23 graden. Dat is te koud voor jonge kinderen. Ze hebben desondanks veel plezier in het zwembad gehad, maar door het tegenvallende weer niet zo vaak als gehoopt.

Mooie camping in steengroeve. Vriendelijke ontvangst door eigenaars. Spreken Nederlands. Beneden in de groeve genoeg schaduw waar je de zon kon zoeken als je wilde. Boven meer zon. Ons verblijf was in een warme periode waardoor wij kozen voor beneden, dit was vlak bij het sanitair. Dit zag er prima uit.
Door corona was het erg rustig op de camping. Plekken waren ruim. Stroomvoorziening goed geregeld.
Broodjes te verkrijgen op de camping. Ook kan je er simpel wat eten op zaterdag.
Drinken op het terras is mogelijk. Wij hebben er EK voetbal gekeken. Door de aanwezige drukte van de voetbal en pizza avond was uiteindelijk alles op qua drinken.
Eigenaars zijn zeer vriendelijk en doen er alles aan om de gasten het naar hun zin te laten hebben. Zeker een aanrader om heen te gaan. Prijs voor overnachting is ook prima. Wifi prima
