In the green surroundings of the Vosges and located in the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park, you will find camping La Sténiole. This mountainous part of France in the northeast of the country is a superb walking region with vast forests. On the campsite you camp on pitches at the edge of the forest, where you can build and sit around a campfire at night. Savour the homemade pizzas and tarte flambée in the campsite restaurant.

Travelling party: Group of friends
Liked - Had a good stay although the weather was really bad. liked the car rim as a fireplace, roomy pitch and good showers spread out over the whole camping. good overall services: wifi, bread, pizza, restaurant.
Disliked - - showers weren't cleaned often enough,
- wifi was not good, an access point on every shower block is recommended,
- information about the restaurant would be usefull at check in

Liked - Loved the forest, size of pitches, swimming facilities and restaurants (both!)
Disliked - The condition of the toilets, washrooms and showers differs greatly (some very good, some way below average). Not all are clean during the day.

Liked - Great green campsite. Lots of trees. We loved making a campfire every night. Sanitary buildings were clean. The kids loved the trampolines , swimming pool and slide. Good selection of ice lollies and icecream. Camping gaz available to buy onsite. Friendly owners.
Disliked - We were unlucky with the weather, but this is of course not the campaign's fault. Our pitch did get very wet. Because of it's location all water from surrounding pitches ran onto our pitch. The pitch itself was in great location. Caravans wouldn't have any issues. Just tricky for tents on very wet days.

Liked - Good atmosphere, friendly staff, and the facilities (restaurant, pizzeria, swimming pool, bread service) were very nice. The camping is very beautifully located along the forest, with quite a lot of really nice spaces and corners. The ability to have a campfire on the pitch was pretty cool and quite atmospheric in the evening. Also very nice that you can just literally walk off the campsite into the forest.
Disliked - There are currently not enough sanitary facilities further down the campsite for the amount of places there are. Especially if you are towards the end of the campsite, it is a bit of a walk, and then a bit of a wait.

Liked - The place on the campside. It's all nature around us. In the evening to make a fire with the kids was very Nice. And the region vosgez was very very beautiful.
Disliked - The internet was very bad. And the toiletbuilding nearby the swimmingpool was good and clean, but the shower was dissapointed. The showerspray was very weak. And the second toiletbuilding nearby the lake was also clean but small. I think it would be better if there were more toilets also for the men as for the women.

Liked - The camping pitch we were shown to was in a busy area near the swimming pool. When i asked for a quieter pitch it was no trouble and we were given a peaceful spot in a field. We lit a fire some nights. Had a great time swimming, sailing a catamaran and messing about in a dingy on lake gerdarmer.
Disliked - Not in walking distance of a village. The pool was too small for the amount of visitors - however it was peak season!
