The quiet and friendly camping site Domaine Catinière is situated in a green area near the village of Fiquefleur. At a distance of only 5 kilometres, you will find the picturesque town of Honfleur.
A small river flows through the camping site, which is located at the foot of a hill. The spacious pitches on the camping site (100 m2) are separated by green hedges and are positioned along pebbled streets. You can choose between a pitch with lots or with little shade or a pitch in an open field. Here you have a free view of the petting zoo. There are rental mobile homes and tents without sanitary facilities on this (5.5 ha) camping site.
Petting zoo and heated swimming pool
This is a favourite place for families with small children. There is a playground with playground equipment, a trampoline, a jumping pillow and a petting zoo with chickens, donkeys, sheep and goats. An entertainment programme for children is available in peak season. Activities for teenagers and adults are also organised. Near the entrance, you will find a heated swimming pool (84 m2) with water slides, water walking balls, an inflatable giraffe and a toddler pool.
Small camping site shop
The small camping site shop stocks basic groceries, regional products and fresh bread. There are several large supermarkets in the vicinity. The restaurant has a limited menu. You can also get snacks and takeaway meals here.
Various activities are organised in the bar on a regular basis: bingo, dance evenings, shows and karaoke. The partly covered terrace of the bar overlooks the pétanque pitch. Additionally, you can play basketball, soccer, table tennis and make use of the fitness equipment. There are signposted walking routes in the vicinity.

Reasonable site but hard to find any information on the area from campsite staff, we found some lovely places nearby for ourselves. Biggest fault was that the showers were cold, this fact alone would prevent us from returning.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They spoke good English and very helpful. That is about all the good things I found with this site. We were very disappointed. The people staying on the site were very noisy which spoilt what could have been a peaceful stay. The showers needed a lot of TLC and were generally dirty. They cubicles were small and not many hooks to hang your things. After showering and before getting fried my towel felt wet as there was no aeration in the showers. The toilets were outside and were often dirty. I realise it is the people who use them that leave them dirty, but there were lots of children who used them without adult supervision and didn't flush them! There were plenty of toilet facilities, but not enough as you often had to queue for them. The showers were not clearly marked and difficult to find. We did have a good day out on the cider trail, it was also convenient for Hornfleur which was a lovely place to visit, the parking however was expensive.
A lovely site, surrounded by woodland and very quiet. It says in the ACSII book that you can cycle into Honfleur on quiet roads. Unless you're a brave and fit cyclist, forget it! We attempted it but I was terrified and we turned back - lots of cars and some big lorries. It's also hilly. We took the car the next day and there's plenty of parking for a whole day. Honfleur is gorgeous and well worth a visit. Reasonably priced restaurants.
Showers were cold. Water hot but open to the elements and freezing as soon as you switched the water off. That's my only complaint.
We paid extra for the 13 amp electricity but it was a smalll price with our Acsii card so I thought that was reasonable. There's a hotel restaurant in the village of Fiquefleur but we didn't sample it.
Site had a shabby neglected appearance. The sanitary facilities were grubby and required modernisation. Toilet bins were half full and did not seem to be emptied frequently. Showers not inviting but the water was hot. We would not return.
We stayed at this campsite for a week with my daughter and her family. We chose it for the distance from Calais, facilities and reviews we found online. We were really pleased with our decision as it was a lovely site in an attractive valley with lots of bird life but very close to Honfleur. The grassy pitches were a really good size, well looked after although a touch boggy when it rained. There was 1 central unisex toilet block which although basic was kept clean, a few animals for my 2 year old granddaughter to go and see and a reasonable amount of play equipment as well. There was a little cafe that served a few basic meals with frite but quite acceptable and the site staff were very friendly and helpful. We had seen some reviews online that weren't very good but couldn't relate to them as our experience was lovely, the bad weather wasn't their fault, so we are happy to recommend this site for a stopoff or a few days stay exploring the area.
On arrival at the site was informed of the cost per night, choice of 3 electricity prices and 20 euro deposit for car barrier card, Wi-Fi costs a lot per day the lady receptionist informed me. On leaving the next day was charged a different total price by the gentleman receptionist, would not discuss increase and was very abrupt. Showers were a lot to be desired, unclean and shower head hanging of the wall. Still has stand up loos. We were going to stay a week but when we were cleaning our teeth the following morning we noticed the water was light brown in our van, the water was light brown from the fill up tap, we had to flush the water system in our van out at the next site. Hence we only stayed 1 night as did our two neighbours. It was a shame we had these problems as it is ideal for Honfleur. We had the impression that they wanted your money but did not provide the service. Our visit was at the end of June 2013.
Nice site with shopping facilities nearby, at reception noticed I had walking difficulties and put us nearer the toilet facilties. Showers and toilet facilities good and kept exceptionally clean, cleaning times seemed a bit long but other facilities available if required. Very good clothes washing & drying facilities. Most people keep their dogs on leads but as usual there is always the exception.
The site has a good location with helpful owners, good access for the Le Havre ferry. But the site is poorly drained. After rain, site is very muddy and during heavy rain some access roads and pitches can flood. O.K. for stays when the weather is dry.
Quality, well maintained and organised site, handy for Honfleur. Quiet with flat demarcated pitches.
