This campsite is very friendly with multi lingual staff. It is a large site with mobile home and tents for hire and very geared up for the family. We arrived at this site on a very busy bank holiday weekend and the site was full. The very helpful staff did find a space for us though and we were very grateful. It was not a standard pitch, it was somewhere we could pitch our caravan and hook up to electricity. As a result of this we were not near the facilities for the caravans and motorhomes, which looked very good. We were nearer the facilities for the campers, which got muddy. Having said that, the facilities in general were cleaned regularly and the showers were hot. The toilets were busy as the site was full, children used them unsupervised and often did not flush them after use, surely children are taught toilet hygiene at home and it would be appreciated if this was carried into the holiday environment. There were lots of facilities for the families and the site was in a good location, very handy for a walk into the town and for exploring around and about. Not our type of a site, but having said that it would probably have suited us better had it not been a bank holiday weekend.
We stayed on this campsite at the end of May, it is very well looked after, the pitches are spacious and hedgemarked, the facilities are French - open to the elements, no heating even when it's freezing cold, no handwash sink in the toilet block, yuk.
Impossible to fill your water barrel unless you have a french fitting or pay 3 euros a night for water on your pitch. The rubbish bins are outside the site.
You have to pay money for a barrier card and bracelet to enter and leave the site.
Although this is a lovely looking site and probably wonderful for children it was soulless and you felt that you'd be charged for breathing.
