Camping Le Petit Pyrénéen is located in the French Pyrenees, on a river near the village of Le Mas-d'Azil. This small, friendly family campsite has a well-maintained terrain, a simple outdoor swimming pool and plenty of play facilities for children. At Le Petit Pyrénéen you'll camp on grass, on a spacious, sheltered pitch with plenty of shade. The impressive prehistoric caves of Le Mas-d'Azil are close to the campsite.
Coming from Toulouse you can follow the A65 until exit 25. Now follow the D25 and in Montesquieu-Volvestre take the D628 to Sabarat. In Sabarat take the D119 to Le Mas-d'Azil. The road follows the course of the river Arize. After about four kilometres the campsite is on the left side of the road. The wooded terrain is shady and well maintained. At the reception building there is a pleasant pavement café. You will be warmly welcomed by the hospitable owners Anne and Philippe.
Shady camping site
On the spacious camping site 44 beautiful touring pitches have been laid out. You camp on grass, on a spacious and shady pitch. Petit Pyrénéen is a real family campsite. There is plenty of space for children to play, both indoors and outdoors. They can play to their heart's content in the outdoor pool and in the river where can build dams, play and splash around. There is no entertainment programme, so for older children this campsite may be less interesting. The village of Le Mas-d'Azil is famous for its prehistoric caves. The only cave in Europe you can even drive through by car!
