Flower Camping Lac aux Oiseaux is a family campsite in the Aveyron, located on the edge of the Parc Naturel Régional des Causses du Quercy. With its covered outdoor swimming pool with water slides and its high altitude course, this campsite is ideal for families with children. But nature lovers will also enjoy the campsite, situated directly on a large lake in a nature reserve. A great destination for camping.

Potential beauty

Due to various renovation works, the beauty of the campsite is not shown to advantage yet, but it certainly has potential. The site is situated in the middle of nature, next to a large lake. The more than sixty touring pitches have an average size. You can also choose from one of the mobile homes or family tents.

Indoor swimming pool with slides

The swimming pool is one of the things on the campsite that has been renovated. It is rectangular and covered by a sliding roof. So you can swim whatever the weather. Next to it a smaller pool with a few large water slides.

Villefranche-de-Rouergue

The campsite restaurant is situated next to the ruins of an old mill. It serves small delicacies. For fresh bread you have to go to the village of Martiel, about three kilometres from the campsite. A larger supermarket can be found in Villefranche-de-Rouergue. Within a quarter of an hour's drive you're in the centre of this old town, where especially the Notre Dame church is worth a visit.

Liked - Nous avons eu comme demandé un Mobil home au calme et ombragé, ce qui n'est pas le cas de certains Mobil homes qui sont en plein soleil.
Le resto est bon, menu du week-end sympa, pizza bonnes.
La ferme est sympa pour les enfants.
La région est belle, le camping est bien situé entre de nombreuses villes ou villages à voir comme Cahors, Cordes sur Ciel, Najac... Mais du coup un peu éloigné. Pas de bouchons !
Disliked - Peu de WiFi sur le camping surtout quand on est éloigné.

Liked - L’accueil tant à la réception qu’au restaurant était très bien. Une équipe disponible et à l’écoute. Des espaces communs propres et régulièrement nettoyés. Ce camping à taille humaine permet de profiter d’une région riche avec de nombreux site à proximité (Villefranche-de-Rouergue, chemins de St Jacques de Compostelle, Figeac, Cajarc, ST cirq lapopie, rocamadour,....) et juste à côté des dolmens de Martiel, le prieuré de Fontaynous,. l’abbaye de Laramière,... Enfin, le cadre du camping, en pleine nature, est très calme, reposant et le ciel magnifique
