If there is such a thing as a prefect camping site, Du Viaduc would qualify. This camping site with its beautiful surroundings of mountain and river valleys stands out for its tall trees which provide ample shade on the camping pitches. It will never be very quiet here, but the hustle and bustle is amicable. The entertainment team is very active and is concentrated on various age groups, so that young children as well as teenagers are catered for.
Ambiance under tall trees
You will arrive at a shady camping with a cheerful coming and going. You will find the reception with shop, restaurant and bar in a centrally located building. On your way to the camping pitch you will notice the tall trees and lively ambiance. All pitches are located along pathways. The smallest pitches are 100 m2 in size, the largest 'XXL-pitches' as much as 400 m2.
Swimming pool and beach
There is an active entertainment team which runs a comprehensive programme for all ages. There is regular live music. Tip: make sure to attend the foam parties. Across from the reception is the swimming pool with slide. The wellness centre is a recent addition. You can walk to the beach via a central road located between the reception and the sanitary building.
Eating and drinking
On the camping site is a small shop with a surprising assortment. Still not sufficient? In Millau you have a choice of several mega supermarkets with regional function. The bar and kitchen offer a wide (à la carte) range. There is regular live music in the restaurant. On the terrace (covered, if so wished) you can enjoy an al fresco dinner in a pleasant temperature.

Stopped here on our way to the coast. Liked it so much that we stayed another night. There are many campsites in Millau and we didn't try any of the others to compare. The toilet block is the nicest and best kept that we have ever experienced. The pitches are a good size and most offer good shade. The river is lovely and clean and provides a refreshing swim. We didn't use the pool as it is a little small and rather full but obviously many did enjoy it. shop sparse but for your morning bread but the town is literally a 5 min walk away. Lots of off site activities nearby. Definitely recommend. Would not hesitate to come back.
Excellent riverside site with one of the best designed and cleaned sanitary blocks we have seen on our travels. Pitches are fairly large with plenty of shade - river side pitches seem to be a bit cooler with the influence of the river and wind. Lovely swimming pool and terraced bar/restaurant area. Easy walk into Millau which has well maintained old town area with tourist office. Plenty of supermarkets within easy driving distance. Lovely walks with superb scenery. A great site if you want to holiday in Millau.
Excellent camp site. Large natural pitches with trees. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Toilet and shower facilities excellent. Lovely pool. Site very clean by river. Walk into Millau took about 15 minutes. Restaurant ok. Would definitely stay again. Only stayed one night
Staff - v. helpful. English not spoken by all of them. Good toilet block, but cleaning seems to take place at peak usage times in the morning! Pitches are level and well shaded also fairly free draining. We did not make use pool or sports facilities, but they seemed to be above average. Main reason for our booking was to see the viaduct and visit the town. Excellent site for both. We would happily revisit this site.
Very nice site within easy reach of the town. We had a nice friendly reception most things being described to us. The shop had all the essentials, bread has to be ordered the day before.
The pitches are spacious with sun or shade. Many have trees in them which may be difficult for larger units. There is a very nice pool area with a children's pool.
The toilet block is nice and kept clean. My only niggle is the insistence of staff to close off large parts of the shower toilet area from around 7.30 am when most people want to use them. They are sealed off for cleaning but the staff just disappear into their little room instead of getting on with it. This only prolongs the inconvenience.
Excellent site, one of the best we have stayed at. Large pitches with un and shade. Friendly, helpful staff, good entertainment, fantastic new toilet and shower block and the heated swimming pool was a big hit with the kids. Lovely town centre close by and lots to do.
