Situated in the French departement Aveyron, east of the town of Milau, is the luxury camping site Les Rivages. Utter enjoyment

The camping site is beautifully located between mountains, but the camping site itself is not at all hilly. The very spacious pitches are separated by hedges and trees. Choose your own pitch with lots or just a bit of shade. Les Rivages is a camping site for the entire family. With entertainment for teenagers and adults, a swimming pool, sports fields and organised excursions, there is lots of fun to be had for everyone. Less active guests who prefer peace and quiet will enjoy the lovely, secluded pitches. The camping site is popular amongst guests from the Netherlands.

The Doubrie, a source of pleasure

Les Virages is a camping site in a beautiful setting. The Doubrie river flows along the camping site. This crystal-clear river is popular with young and old. Great for swimming, canoeing, crayfishing, building dams and much more! Lovely tanning sessions on the pebble and grassy beach. Not a great fan of open water? You will also enjoy the heated outdoor pool (404m²), located near the reception.

Convenience for all

The sanitary facilities are made with everyone in mind. For instance, you will find toilets for children, for seniors, showers for seniors and family showers. The facilities are kept very clean.

Travelling party: Seniors

excellent, very pretty site. Reception friendly and helpful. Pitches good size. We had a larger pitch ( other than a comfort ACSI pitch) as it was very quiet. Didn't try pool or restaurant. Toilet facilities excellent. Kept very clean. Walk into Millau just 10 minutes. Market day Friday. Super U just ten minutes away by car. You must visit the museum of the viaduct. Very interesting, with amazing views of the viaduct itself. The Tarn Gorge is a must. Such amazing scenery. Would return to the same site again with no hesitation.

Travelling party: Couple

We stayed in the final week before it closed for the winter so this may not be representative of high season. We booked in for one night and stayed five albeit in great sunny weather. It is a large site with big pitches and we were free to choose our own pitch. There were twenty plus motorhome and caravan users every night but everyone spaced themselves out and you felt as if you were on your own. We had the river next to us, a view of the viaduct and an incredible amount of space. Toilets, etc. were good. The staff were lovely and helpful and reception had folders of walks, etc. The swimming pool was large - we swam every day and always had the pool to ourselves. Millau is a lovely town and a mere five minutes by bike mainly on a very good cycle paths. Very strongly recommended.

Travelling party: Couple

Stayed for 9 days, which says something. Great choice of pitches, full or part shaded. Great pool. Very helpful staff, who speak far better English, than I can speak French. Easy access to Millau. One tip, at weekends the chalets had some loud youth. Not a great problem, but if you like the quiet, then don't choose a pitch near chalets. Would stay again.

Travelling party: Couple

It's difficult to fault this site. Choice of pitches from sunny to shady and all of a good size. Staff were friendly and helpful offering plenty of advice. Certainly a site to go back to.

Travelling party: Couple

This site is excellent. Its location close to Millau town means a 10 minute stroll or a short cycle ride in to a town with many shops and bars. Reception staff were always helpful and spoke English There's a good pool area with lifeguard and organised games during high season Another area to sunbathe is by the river which is shallow and safe. We visited this site 11 years ago and liked it then. Our opinion hasn't changed.

Travelling party: Seniors

This camp site is excellent - large pitches, friendly staff, excellent sports facilities and picturesque location. We have returned there for the last 4 years and feel at home on the site meeting people who return year after year. There is a lovely town within walking/cycling distance of the site and Simply supermarket along the river for motorhome owners with cycles. Facilities on the site are modern and excellent. We will be returning next year.

Travelling party: Seniors

Really good size pitches. Friendly welcome and the location was excellent. Views of the spectacular Viaduct from the site. Highly recommended.

Fantastic setting next to the river, good sized pitches and very easy to find. The staff are also very friendly.
