Countryside camping

Camping at the heart of the countryside, that's Huttopia Millau, whether amongst the trees with views of Millau or the Millau viaduct, or on the banks of the Dourbie. Some of the accommodation is immediately adjacent to the river so you can jump from your gypsy wagon or lodge tent right into the water! Some of the lodges are situated a little away from the river. There is also a selection of comfortable cottages.

Fun in the water

Water enthusiasts will love Huttopia Millau campsite. There is a swimming pool for cooling off in warm weather and if the weather is on the cool side, the water can be heated up. You can also take to the river for a swim, plus the River Tarn is great for canoeing and kayaking.

Outdoor sports

Millau is considered the capital of outdoor sports, and a great many activities are organised from the town, including canoeing, rafting, diving, paragliding, mountain biking and mountain climbing. And if you don't feel like joining in, spectators are always welcome!

Stayed here just as a weather alert was posted, site staff well informed and seemed ready for if the adjacent Tarn and Doubie rivers overflowed, luckly not while we were there. One thing though as we were paying to leave we were informed that the site no longer acepted 2 dogs in low season, although we had told them we had two when we arrived, maybe ACSI need to amend their site data!

Great location on the outskirts of Millau, the via duct can be seen from the site. Good dog walking along side shallow river adjacent to the site, bread from reception, shop approx. 1kl towards town. Lots of shade under trees, not good for tv reception. toilets/showers plentiful and clean.

We spent 2 weeks here and the site is very convenient for the town and surrounding countryside. Heated showers which was nice and clean facilities. The only downside was that Wifi was quite expensive, 10 minutes free and then had to pay, while other campsites nearby offered free Wifi.

This is a lovely site. We went for 3/4 days and stopped for three weeks. The staff are very friendly, the pitches spacious with water and drainage accessible on each pitch. Free wi-fi worked well in the caravan. There is a lot to see and do in the area with the Gorge du Tarn, Rocquefort and many more.

Used the site as an overnight stop, very well placed for the city of Millau, situated on the banks of a tributary to the Tarn. Good facilities with drainage for motorhomes. Easy access over bridge. Ducks expect to be fed but soon get bored! The proximity to the river means families with children would need to be careful over supervising them.

We arrived on May 2011 only intending to stay a couple of nights. We stayed 8 nights. Lovely area, lots to do; beautiful scenery. Millau within walking distance. Good market. Toilets/Showers very clean. Large pitches. Very friendly owners. Highly recommend this camp site. Was sad to leave.
