On the Lac de Pareloup, a reservoir in the southern French department of Aveyron, you’ll find camping Sites & Paysages Beau Rivage. The landscape here is formed by rock plateaus and wooded hills. The campsite is situated against the hillside. From the well-maintained, shady terraces you have a beautiful view over the lake, a water sports paradise for surfers, water skiers and sailors.

Lake view

A small road leads down to the terraced campsite. Between well-maintained hedges are over fifty touring pitches. These pitches have a lot of privacy and trees provide shady spots. But the biggest plus is the view: from almost every pitch you look out over the vast lake.

The rental accommodations, especially mobile homes and chalets, are also situated on beautifully tended lawns and in the shade of trees. And from these spots the view over the water is also beautiful.

Lac de Pareloup

The first thing you encounter when you reach the campsite is the swimming pool. Especially for younger children who can already swim this pool is fun. Luckily the Lac de Pareloup with its 12.6 km2 is big enough for everyone. Via stone steps you can walk from the campsite to the sandy beach.

Water sports

Part of the lake is cordoned off for swimmers. Especially popular with the older youth is the floating trampoline, which forms an island where you can sunbathe and of course you can jump off. Outside the swimming area, Lac de Pareloup is a water sports paradise. Surfing, water-skiing, sailing: it's all possible.

Travelling party: Couple

Een camping zeer mooi gelegen aan het meer. Ruime en mooie plaatsen.
MAAR sanitair onder de maat!!!
Niet schoon en maar 4 of 5 douches en ook toiletten. Vaak geen WC papier. Nu zijn wij er in een rustige periode, als ze het nu al niet op orde hebben kun je nagaan wat het zal zijn bij volle bezetting.

We betalen per nacht ( caravan) voor plaats aan het meer.
Omdat het sanitair niet in orde is en restaurant gesloten, is de prijs / kwaliteit verhouding niet correct, buiten proporties.

Wij komen hier niet meer terug.

Liked - Prachtig uitzicht over het meer. Camping heeft ruime plaatsen en voldoende voorzieningen. Dichtbij allerlei watersportvoorzieningen.
Disliked - De paadjes zijn smal dus krap inparkeren op je kampeerplaats. Voorzieningen zijn prima maar mij was onduidelijk of het voor de mannen of vrouwen was. ( is niet zo erg). De prijzen voor extra personen ( kinderen boven de 12 ) zijn hoog. Dat maakt het een prijzige camping als je veel kinderen hebt.

Liked - Het meer met trampoline en de kleinschaligheid
Disliked - WiFi deed het niet. Dit buiten de schuld van de camping. We hadden voor een week betaald en hadden slechts drie dagen WiFi. Geen enkele coulance van de receptie. Ze verkopen wel WiFi maar van verantwoordelijkheid geen enkele sprake. De klant hierin tegemoet komen had beter gekund. En paspoort afgeven in ruil voor de sleutel van de slagboom moet niet kunnen.

Liked - Nette camping. Goede hygiëne. De eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en doen hun best om het iedereen naar de zin te maken. Wij hadden een grote staanplaats. Veel nationaliteiten op de camping.

Disliked - Je moet geluk hebben dat niet iemand pal voor je gaat staan waardoor je uitzicht weg valt. Wij hadden geluk.
