Lovely campsite. Large pitches and clean facilities although dated. Very friendly staff. Convenient for beach, pleasant walk. More water taps have been added. Good value, basic, clean site. Worth staying a night or two. Fresh bread to order. Free wifi on some pitches. Have stayed here often as so convenient for tunnel.

A beautifully situated site up a narrow lane with great views over the Channel towards Dover. A terraced site with level pitches, facilities may be a little dated but functional, those with caravans may like to know they can be parked without uncoupling. We have used this site many times as it is 15 minutes from Eurotunnel.

we visited this site in late season.no information was given on arrival. we noticed some facilities were closed off and had to ask where showers and toilets were. the site is on a very steep hill and guess what the facilities were right at the very top .nice view of the sea up there.

A most unpleasant stay. The site is steeply terraced and we were placed at the very top. The toilets etc are at the very bottom! Not even a water tap anywhere apart from at the toilet block. We had reserved a place for our return from the UK but cancelled that. We would never stay here again.

The sanitary facilities were clean but very inadequate for the number of people on the site. The caravans and motorhomes were packed very close together- two the space suitable for one. Overcrowed and only a few pitches had a view of the channel.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Proprieters are pleasant, the campsite is nice and peaceful. There is paper provided in the toilets and soap and paper towels for handwashing. The one main problem is the pitch we had, and we suspect other pitches have the same problem, is a few inches of soil over a rocky layer. It was so hard we bent several tent pegs and broke our peg mallet. It's a very windy spot, so the pegs are necessary and they need to be hammered all the way in to work. Recommend testing some pegs in the pitch you're given before you take it, or go elsewhere with a tent.

Travelling party: Group of friends

We stayed here the first night as a stop over, and decided to stay the last night as it is so near the Calais Dock and the Wine/Beer warehouses. Which we called into on the way home. We found it the best site for the toilet facilities, lovely hot showers. You can do your own BBQ and they have free Wifi on some pitches. Excellent value. Would go back again. Lovely views of Dover.

Travelling party: Group of friends

This was one of the best sites we stayed on, we were a party of motorcycles traveling around Europe on a 3 week holiday and this was the first and last site we stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful, all in all 5 star.

Good value. The view over to the white cliffs was memorable especially as the sun set. The toilets and showers were very basic. Enjoyable walking in the area.

Stayed here as a stop off on route to Paris. Was perfect! Out of the town so you feel completely safe in beautiful setting. Clean toilets, clean, hot showers. Fresh bread for the morning can be ordered from the reception at really good prices. A great find!
