Travelling party: Couple

To be honest as we were only staying one night and had a puncture to deal with, we didn't tackle the owner about this. We would not use the site again however, as we feel it is dishonest to advertise one rate and charge something different.
The facilities were clean and adequate. There is Wifi on pitch and it works. We were irritated until quite late by a noisy group of French people in an adjacent static unit.

Stayed for the 2nd time this holiday on way out and our way back to the tunnel, nice site with helpful staff, clean facilities.

Felt cheated on the price as we were charged in excess of the quoted ACSI rate and when challenged the owner would not accept this!! The site is mainly full of permanently occupied caravans and mobile homes. We had a good corner pitch to ourselves as the site wasn't busy. Electricity tripped just after we set up and had to chase to get the box reset. Sanitary facilities were good with shower boards to keep your feet off the floor. Free Wi-Fi which worked!! This was why the price was higher!!
There is a railway line not far from the site with a regular service!
Dog walk just off from the site which was very convenient.

Very nice site with very friendly owners who could not do enough for us. Clean showers and toilets, good size pitches.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

We used this campsite as a stopover from the Tunnel to Brittany. Despite the site not being formally open, (although the official website shows it as being open from 20th March), the owners, upon our e-mail request were happy to let us stay. Our pitch was fine despite the recent poor weather. The campsite hosts were very welcoming. The campsite is very convenient from the main routes and is very well sign-posted. The toilet / shower block was very clean and the showers good. Would recommend as a good stopover point. Didn't get to see anything of the town or local amenities given the time we were there. There is a children's playpark but that was under water due to recent bad weather.

Travelling party: Seniors

Used this site after a very wet winter and was found a drained pitch and made sure that we were happy have used site 3-4 times previously.
