Campsite Sites & Paysages de l'Etang ****

General information
Guide price €35.00

Castles, vineyards and picturesque villages characterise the area surrounding Camping de l’Etang in Brissac-Quincé. You camp here on the old farm grounds of the Château of Brissac, an authentic and vast area which is eminently suitable for rest and relaxation. The large pond adjacent to the camping site, abound with carp and sun perch, is popular with anglers.

Glamping on the camping site

The terrain measures approximately 8 ha, but you are not allowed to drive your pegs into the ground or turn out the caravan legs just anywhere. This is only allowed on one of the 100 easily accessible pitches which measure at least 100 m2. There are forty rental cottages, chalets and safari tents. The most beautiful accommodation units are undoubtedly the huts with their own porch and jetty, located at the fishing pond.

Children keep themselves busy

This is absolutely fantastic for children. When they discover the adjacent adventure park with water slides, pedal boats, a mini train and many more great attractions, there is no holding them back. Camping guests are given a discount on the entrance fee. Young and old can participate in all activities organised by the entertainment team.

The camping site vineyard

The domain produces a fruity rosé, a delectable white wine and a red wine. Each week you can taste these wines freely on the wine-tasting tour. The restaurant borders the swimming pool. You can also relax on a sunny terrace.

In the camping shop you can buy daily fresh bread and croissants as well as regional products and, of course, the camping site wines.

Travelling party: Seniors

Brilliant campsite with very good staff and very large pitches. The surrounding area has some thing for everyone depending on your taste. I would highly recommend this site

Travelling party: Seniors

Nice quiet campsite in a nice location. Pitches flat surrounded by hedges. Nice wine tasting evening. Toilets clean and good showers. On site shop well stocked and staff were very pleasant. We stayed here for a week and enjoyed the local area and the town is a short walk away via the path along the river.

Gill Rowlands, on this campsite in June 2017

Travelling party: Couple

Celine and Laura very helpful and speak good English. Large hedged pitches. Plenty of sh/wc and hot water. Good off-lead dog walking as site is a working farm/vineyard and there is a footpath to the village (20 min) where you can visit the Chateau. Good on site restaurant

Travelling party: Couple

A lovely site with friendly staff. Great walks around, including to Brissac-Quince alongside a stream ( excellent market on Thursdays and a captivating cafe/wine shop run by the owner (Lucille)\'s husband.

Travelling party: Group of friends

Travelled with a Rally. An excellent site with large grassy pitches. Toilets and showers kept very clean with ample hot water. English speaking very helpful team who met our needs on every occasion. Would recommend to all.

Travelling party: Group of friends

An excellent site with an English speaking helpful Team. Large grassy plots with ample space. Two very nice pools.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Flat and level pitches, some shading. A young and friendly staff. 3 pools, bar. Only 2 toilet blocks open during our stay. Poor security, our tent and two others got slashed 5/7/11 there are 3 unsecured entrances. Kids club mostly aimed at smaller kids, if yours are under 8 then fine, I would absolutely not recommend this site for tents, but it's OK for caravans. Very pretty and well maintained but this is pointless when security is non-existant and your daughter is asking what happens if the robbers come back. The gendarmes are very helpful.

Travelling party: Seniors

A very good site with very frendly staff and large pitches. Nice location, local market is very good. We will return.
