Liked - I realize it is near the end of the season, plus there has been a few days of. Heavy rain, but it now seems that the placements for camping cars are secondary to cabins. The staff were excellent, but it would seem that little or no care is taken to ensure that Campimg Car sites are clean , in short it was mostly a muddy mess throughout.
The drains in One of the sanitaires were all totally blocked & toilets had overflowed as result.I as a flower caning member, would not revisit this site for all the reasons aforementioned
Disliked - Think I said all above

Liked - I cannot believe that after leaving 4 days early, and having explained my feelings to the owner, you have sent this to me. Take a look at Trip Advisor.
Disliked - Everything and waiting for refund.

Liked - We had to leave due to noise levels nd BBQs being lit in the small road next to our pitch. I complained twice and provided multiple videos. I was promised a refund as we left and stayed elsewhere but I still haven’t received it. A senior manager wrote it in a book it was for approx 870 euros. It was such a shame as we deliberately chose this site as it stated 5 on Zen. I didn’t want to leave a bad review as until this dangerous and noisy experience we were having a lovely stay. However 7 days on and no refund leaves me no choice.
Disliked - Waiting 7 days without a refund. Having to leave the site so I could transfer to a safe site that was Zen

Do not even consider staying here. Shower block near our pitch was closed so had to walk to the top end of the site for showers & toilets which were filthy. Facilities for filing up with fresh water for motorhome were inadequate. Pitch was just soil & no grass which turned into mud following a thunderstorm. Pitches were close together with very little privacy. Very noisy at night which I wouldn’t expect on a French site, which is usually quiet after 10pm. Booked & paid for 3 nights but left after only 1 night & was refused a refund. The worst site we have ever stayed on. Definitely not a 4* site

Liked - Very disappointed, mud pitch , electricity keep going off due to the rain and bad electrical connections , which they knew about ? Wouldn’t stay here again .
Disliked - Barriers where up from 7-11 at night to which cars were seen wandering around the site at night which did not belong there, locals taking a look !!!

Liked - Location. Easy walk into Saumur.
Disliked - Pitches unkempt. Pitch allocation does not consider the size of the units arriving. Despite expaining that we were car and caravan and asked for a large pitch both on booking and on arrival, we were given one of the smallest pitches on site whilst other, larger pitches had only a 2 man tent or small campervan on.
More care should be taken to evaluate the customers' needs and ensure that the pitch is suitable.
Cleaning of sanitaires is haphazard with some sinks covered in dead flies.

Began by having to wait outside in a traffic jam for 20 mins alongside a building site. The pitch was overgrown. First night we ate at the restaurant, as my wife loves artichoke she ordered the vegetarian pizza, it arrived, no artichokes, she questioned the waiter who said there were none and they had been replaced with courgettes, no explanation when it was served and no apology offered. The children\'s playground is overgrown, lots of dog poo and so uneven - an accident waiting to happen for a child. The old children\'s play area although fenced off is just an eyesore, massively overgrown. What I can only imagine to be the old swimming pool is just left derelict. There is no bottle bank inside the camp, It appears that they are happy to spend money on a new bar area and wooden cabins but are not prepared to keep the site in good condition. We were camping through Spain & France using family run sites, all were so much better than this one. Will definitely not return. Heaven only knows how your inspector gives it 4 stars!!!

Liked - Good location within walking distance of town
Disliked - Very small pitch and other pitches too close. Too near the permanent chalets. Poor arrangement of Sanitaires.

Liked - As campsites go it was mostly OK.
Disliked - The noise from the Kids Club was almost constant. The same song all week and then the disc until 10:30 at night.

Could be better! More care must be taken when allocating pitches. Customer needs vary. For example a caravan with awning and car needs a fairly large pitch.
We booked in advance for 11 nights, requesting a large pitch and, again, on arrival asked for a large pitch. Unfortunately our request was ignored and we were given one of the smallest pitches on site! Yet larger pitches were available with just a small campervan or even a small tent on!
Ok, we were offered the chance to move but by this time the awning was up and everything unpacked. It would have been
very difficult for us to pack everything away and then unpack again.
