This site is well positioned for Amiens with an excellent cycle path along the canal into the city. The downside is that it is rather scruffy and the toilet facilities very basic, dated and smelly on our arrival. So much so that I avoided them. We moved on the following day without really exploring the city as we had intended. For so early in the season we were well and truly underwhelmed by the experience and won\'t be returning.

Lovely little site. Great for a stop-over either into or out of France. Good toilets and showers. Great dog walk around the small lakes.

We were travelling to the Somme commemoration and thus was an ideal central location. The staff were friendly and helpful, facilities spotless and plenty of hot water in the showers. There is public transport right outside the gates if you want a day off driving. Would stay again if we were in the area.

Very basic campsite and very little value for money. There was a restaurant but it was only open for couple of hours on the weekend in low season. The pitches were grassy but no scenery and in open plan bays so very little privacy. Not bad for a stopover and it seemed as though most campers were only staying en route elsewhere. Very good for transport into Amiens as there is a bus stop right outside that takes you into the city centre which has a beautiful cathedral.

We stop here so dog can go to the vets. Both times we have visited in September and site has been in the throes of shutting down, so the toilets were adequate but when full they must struggle. Don\'t think we have ever seen the shop open. This could be a good site near a particularly pleasant and interesting City centre, but it does need some TLC.

This site does not meet the promising review given on page 42 of the 2013 ACSI Guide Part 2. It is certainly not new and some of the facilities are looking well-worn. The electric points are sufficient for only about 50% of the pitches and the outlets look discoloured, possibly indicating over-heating, and some have loose covers (spring-returns not working). In our post with 6 outlets only 3 gave power. This was not repaired up to the time we left after 6 days, despite complaining at reception after our arrival.

Site 5 km from centre so some transport needed for visiting. We use our bicycles which were a short ride. Found lacking of local eateries fustrating as we did not want to cook.
Asci card rate was actually higher than the low season rate but we had to point that out to reception before we could pay that low season rate, so the ASCI discount card is no discount at all.

This is a neglected site. Of the 3 toilet blocks 1 was closed, 1 was WC only and the 3rd only had 2 WC and 2 showers for the whole camp site. The pitches were simply neglected, overgrown, lumpy, pot holed, mole hills, ditches with nettles. They began to mow the day we left probably as a result of all the complaints. The site was emptying fast by many feeling the same. No one was willing to erect awnings. The crazy golf was overgrown and almost derelict and the shop/bar was only open Fri, Sat and Sun evenings on the last week in May! First impressions were good but then we got the impression this was a large company running out of money! Options to dine out - practically nil. We and many others moved on.

Seniors coulpy with our staffie, we stayed at this site on suday 22.04.12. for 1 night at the start of our 10 week trip to the south. The staff were very good but the weather was wet and cold. The toilet block was very clean.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff.
You need to watch where you pitch as the electric hook up point may be out of reach.
Ideal location for visiting Amiens as you can cycle or walk along the canal into the centre of town. Also easy access to the surrounding WW1 battlefields and museums. Highly recommend a visit to the museum at Peronne.
