The friendly camping site Le Val de Trie is situated in the lush, wooded Trie valley. It is a peaceful, rural location near the village of Moyenneville. The landscape here boasts country manors, castles and monasteries. The camping site is fairly small and simple, but there is still plenty for children to enjoy.
A place for everyone
The camping site is a great mix of rental accommodations and camping pitches. Guests stay on beautiful, spacious pitches with plenty of sunlight and shade. Gravel paths lead to the pitches. Typically, guests choose their pitches themselves. For example, you might pick a lively location near the reception area or decide to set up shop on a quieter pitch farther away.
There is plenty for the little ones to do on this child-friendly camping site. They will love the two play areas, bouncy castle and trampoline. The site also features a simple, partially covered swimming pool. During high season, activities are organised as well.
Those who prefer not to cook all the time when on holiday can pay a visit to Le Val de Trie's charming bar. You can choose to enjoy a simple and delicious dish at the bar or take it away with you. If you are looking for good seafood restaurants, they can be found half-hour's drive away on the coast.
Bread delivery service
The small camping shop stocks only the basic necessities. Larger supermarkets are only a few kilometres away from the camping site. However, you can order fresh bread every morning from the camping site. It will be delivered to your camping spot. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean.

Liked - great site with a great atmosphere. Highly recommend eating at their as great food and reasonably priced
Disliked - The "band" on Friday night played Rave music for 3 hours with the Bass coming through our van 100 metres away. This is supposed to be a quiet family site !!!!
Liked - Friendliness of everyone.
Disliked - Showers took a lot of water to heat up and then not very hot
Liked - The sizes of the pitches. The friendliness of the staff. The things to do in the area. The facilities on site (bar, restaurant, pool, kiddies areas, fishing).
Disliked - Not really a dislike, only a comment. I was unable to find a grey water waste point.
This site is at the bottom of a valley surrounded by tall trees; this means that the ground takes a longer time to dry out. The site roads had many puddles for the two days we were there, even though we had no rain. The pitches were muddy, rutted uneven and wet. The hedges around the toilet blocks were overgrown and wet. The chemical toilet emptying point is at the second toilet block, a walk of over 100 metres from the main touring pitches. Again I had to push through wet long vegetation to reach it. The toilets & showers have been partly refurbished but were not heated as advertised. The washing up sinks provided just tepid water after wasting several litres of cold water by repeated pushes of the tap as advised by notices. There was a very noisy group in one of the chalets on the Friday night who kept most others awake until the early hours. Good points: easily accessed from the motorway, friendly, hardworking staff and very enjoyable birdsong.
Friendly staff, pitches a little muddy (but there had been a lot of rain)
The only bad point are the showers, which are only luke warm.
