In the town of Château d’Oléron, in the south-east of the exceptional island Ile d’Oléron, you will find Camping Airotel Oléron. You will enjoy the shade and privacy on the spacious pitches of this wooded campsite (21 ha). A large number of rental accommodation units is available, including unique tents, 'Pipo the Clown' mobile homes and fisherman cabins. Take a refreshing dive in the swimming pool. There is a varied entertainment programme for campers of all ages. Other than this, the campsite is especially geared towards horse lovers. Go on glorious beach rides (for advanced riders) or take some lessons (also for beginners).

Camping amidst green

The campsite consists of level pitches separated by trees and bushes. The well maintained campsite has paved roads, along which the pitches are located. The wooded terrain is home to 130 touring pitches. These pitches vary in size from 80 to 150 m2. The pitches for tents are truly magnificent.

Swimming and relaxing

Near the entrance of the campsite you will find a large, heated outdoor swimming pool (200 m2). There is also a separate toddler pool. Here you will find all kinds of colourful water-spewing animal figures. Around the swimming pool are some loungers and a few thatched sun umbrellas. Camping Airotel Oléron is less than 1 km away from the sea. This is also ideal for swimming and sunbathing.

Dining out and barbecue

Breakfast as well as fresh bread are available on this campsite. The camping shop stocks a limited range of provisions. The restaurant offers a wider choice. For a quick bite to eat you can head for the snack bar (with attractive saloon doors) and the pizzeria. Take-away meals are also offered. There is also a amiable bar.

Liked - Me retrouver en famille
Disliked - S'il est normal de laisser le bungalow propre, je trouve abusif de devoir tout faire à fond. Les femmes de ménage vous tendent la chiffonnette pour essuyer. Elles ne font rien si ce n'est inspecter. Elles sont réparties en même temps que nous sans avoir nettoyer à fond sdeb et toilettes. Ç est donc très léger au niveau hygiène.
Autant interdire les animaux, si on est obligé de les laisser dehors. Et enfin, fourmis et araignées présentes dans le bungalow n 'ont pas perturbé les femmes de ménage.
Si ç est à nous de faire le ménage, il faudrait le signaler sur votre site.

Liked - Bien pour l'hébergement
Attention beaucoup de moustiques, se munir de répulsif
Disliked - Nous avions choisi votre établissement car le site précisait avec restaurant... A notre arrivée le bar et le restaurant étaient fermés : nous étions à pied car nous faisions le tour de l'île en itinéraire donc nous avons été en difficulté

Liked - Mobil-home bien équipé, centre équestre dans le camping, navettes gratuites à proximité pour les plages,
Disliked - L’aire de jeux au bord de la route pas terrible pour les enfants, la plus jeune personne à l’accueil absolument pas souriante et pas accueillante, on dirait qu’on la dérange c’est fort dommage ! D’avoir à payer 70 euros de plus pour une 5ème personne et 2 chambres en passant par camping.com alors que j’aurais eu 3 chambres et aucun surcoût en réservant directement auprès du camping !!

Liked - un endroit que je connais depuis 40 ans, mais qui a perdu un peu de son charme. Les ados ont adoré et demandent à revenir.
Disliked - bon accueil, le personnel est très aimable. Le coût est très élevé par rapport à la qualité.
Les emplacements sont bien séparés. Un arbuste juste sous une fenêtre de chambre à rendu impossible son ouverture

Liked - L hébergement, les personnes de l accueil.
Disliked - Les services. Surveillant de baignade constamment sur son téléphone avec ses écouteurs. Animatrice complètement absente et qui n'a pas géré les suites d un accident. Enfant qui se retrouve avec une double fracture suite au tournoi de foot. Les gérants qui nous ont pris de haut et pas du tout entendu suite à ça. Pas du tout de reconnaissance client.

Liked - J'avais choisi ce camping pour le centre équestre et offrir à ma fille passionnée de chevaux des balades à cheval.
Disliked - Le système d'inscription aux balades : 2 personnes à l'accueil et 2 versions différentes, ce qui fait que je n'ai pas pu inscrire ma fille comme je voulais. On me dit inscription le dimanche ou mercredi soir pour une seule séance et inscriptions au jour le jour. Donc j'y retourne le lendemain pour une nouvelle inscription et là on m'annonce par une personne différente de la veille, qu'il fallait faire les inscriptions le mercredi soir. Ma fille très déçue et moi carrément vu que j'ai choisi ce camping POUR le centre.

Liked - Machine à laver et sèche linge sur place. Piscine toujours sympa en cas de marée basse. Camping bien situé proche d'un supermarché, d'une petite ville. La navette gratuite devant le camping. Equitation pour enfants. Emplacement pétanque, volley, un city.
Disliked - Manque d'une petite supérette sur place. Les sanitaires n'ont pas été nettoyés quotidiennement et énormément de toiles d'araignée. Nous avons pu acheter des billets pour les visites en bateau. Personnellement ce n'est plus un camping, cela devient de plus en plus un hôtel de plein air. Trop de mobil home.

Liked - La gentillesse de l’équipe du camping. La localisation du mobile home.
Très bon concert. Équipe sympathique et souriante. Le mobile home très agréable. Jolie végétation.
Disliked - Un peu loin des plages sympa. Les transats piscine réservés par dépôt de serviette et rarement accessibles. Toilettes de la piscine très moyennes.
Pas de clim. La ville de château pas très animée.
Rendu plus propre que reçu mais un peu de chipotage pour la poussière sous les lits...
A vos balais ;) !
