Camping Le Main is located in the French island Île d'Oléron, near the Atlantic Ocean. This small campground has a familial atmosphere and is the perfect spot for water sports enthusiasts and beach lovers. Île d'Oléron is located on the west coast of France in the department of Charente-Maritime. The island can be reached via the D26, which changes to the bridge Pont de l'Île d'Oléron at Bourcefranc-le-Chapus. The campground is on the edge of a large forest, 1.5 km from the beach.
The campsite is characterised by its familial feel. It is small and convivial. There are also not many camping pitches, but the pitches that are there are spacious, all have their own parking space for the car and are always near the sanitation building. In addition to the pitches, there are also comfortable accommodations to rent.
The campground is only 5 minutes by bike from the beach. With over 100 km of coastline, there is plenty of space for everyone to feel at home by and in the sea. Surfers, sailors and kayakers love the waves of the Atlantic Ocean on the coast of Île d'Oléron. The west coast is especially suitable for these water babies, while on the east side of the island there are beaches which are perfect for families with children.
The campground is not really a children's campsite, but children will still have fun here. Especially if they love small-scale activities. There are performances given on the campground and the kids can participate in water games.
