In Loix, the smallest village on the Ile de Ré, island on the west coast of France, you'll find Flower Camping Les Ilates. This lively campsite is located between salt marshes and oyster beds, close to the Atlantic Ocean. Here, campers can take a dip in the large heated swimming pool with paddling pool, where water polo matches are held in high season. The summer months are full of fun anyway, as the entertainment programme is extensive.

Well-maintained campsite with mobile homes

The campsite looks well cared for and tidy. Approximately seventy spacious touring pitches with grassy ground are separated from each other by large hedges. So you always have privacy on your pitch. Most of the pitches on the campsite are reserved for rental accommodations. You can choose from mainly classic mobile homes, but you can also spend the night in glamping tents or in a special Cabane Lodgetent on stilts.

Large heated swimming pool

The beautiful swimming pool is situated in the middle of the campsite. This heated outdoor pool is very spacious. In addition to the large pool is a spacious paddling pool, so even the youngest water enthusiasts will be able to enjoy their water fun. Big advantage: the swimming pool is also open in the evenings. Got hungry from all that swimming? Next to the swimming pool is the restaurant. Take a seat at the pavement café and order a pizza.

Atlantic Ocean and beach

If you like the sea, you'll be fine here. From the campsite, a paved road takes you to the sandy beach at the Pointe du Grouin, one kilometre from the campsite. Because this wide sandy beach on the Atlantic Ocean is quite remote from the rest of the island, it's a lot quieter here than on the other large beaches of Île de Ré.

Liked - J'ai tout apprécié, la plancha, le lave vaisselle, les repas sur la terrasse, nous avons eu la chance d'avoir un temps superbe. D'accord il y a toujours des petites choses à améliorer, mais nous avons passé un super séjour, et nous reviendrons l'année prochaine. Je recommande cet endroit à tous, mais ne venez pas tous pendant mon séjour qu'il me reste une petite place.
Disliked - Les chambres sont un peu juste en place sur les côtés de lits, manque de placard dans les chambres, gros problème de guêpes et même frelons asiatiques, qui ont un peu gâché les repas dehors, piscine mériterait d'être agrandie, restaurant fermé, food truck en remplacement, c'est pas nous, on préfère le restaurant. Les mobil-home sont un vieux, ils mériteraient d'être changés.

Liked - Emplacement serré 1 face à face trop proche 3 soirs consécutifs d'animation à fond les ballons dont la 3ème passé minuit gavant pour la période de septembre
Jacuzzi très positif très apprécié
Nous espérons que les remaniements à venir ne vont pas être trop proches et en face à face les uns des autres (vu que le prix augmentera) difficile dans ces cas là de garder l'âme d'1 camping surtout à loix qui reste quand même authentique
Nous sommes souvent venus à Ré et sommes toujours venus chez vous

Disliked - déçu du nouveau concept du restaurant. nous avons trouver la qualité inferieur a l'année dernière. surpris, de ne pas pouvoir boire un café apres 21h et le matin de notre depart a 10h! les animations étaient aussi en deca de l'année dernière.
