Liked - The little towns around and the good pool. The size is just right for us, not to big and not to small... the playground was also pretty good. The canoe rental of 10 euro for 2 hours was actually a lot of fun. Highly recommend that with toddlers (ours 3 and 5).
Disliked - The pillows were big squared and hard and it was impossible to change these according to the reception. It was a pity there were no accommodations with airco since on some days it was to hot. The kids club was a little to structured for our taste but the little mini disco was a nice end of the day moment for our kids. The restaurant was very simple snackbar food which kept us from eating there.

Travelling party: Single
Liked - Flat level pitch, well kept campsite, shower blocks immaculate, lovely pools inside and outside, nice bar area and restaurant serving good value for money food, overall enjoyed my stay would recommend and definitely would stay here again
Disliked - Two things, 1 lack of bins to put your rubbish, I searched everywhere around the site to find these at the entrance to the campsite, and 2 only one place behind one of the shower blocks to empty the loo was a bit of a treck and two of the three distarge points were blocked, in fairness my stay was at the end of their busiest period and it is a lovely site but if they had a distarge point behind every toilet block it would be easier as it’s a big site and possibly would not block through the volume of use neither of these things ruined my short stay 9/10 and would still recommend site

Travelling party: Seniors
Liked - Location on the ring road makes it easy to head off sightseeing each. A supermarket very close. Bar and pool. What's not to like. WiFi is free.
Disliked - Not the sites fault but be aware phone services patchy due to valley location. But WiFi compensates.

Liked - Beautifully kept campsite. Amazing swimming pools and play areas. Fantastic cottage. Friendly staff.
Disliked - Food in the bar wasn’t great. Wood on balcony gave splinters. But honestly it was an amazing holiday. Just little things.

Liked - The campsite is a family run, very family orientated place. Lovely and clean and friendly staff to help you out. A small site which was perfect for our first visit. Walking distance from La Roche Posay town (20 minutes or less)
Disliked - Evening entertainment was lacking and majority in French- yes I hear you all thinking well it was France- however difficult to follow and not always attempts for translation- we have already booked French lessons

Liked - Loved the campsite, the pool was beautiful. Super U was very close by. Activities for Children are timetables. The restaurant was lovely and not too expensive. The owners and staff were all very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. We all had a fantastic holiday!

"Family campsite with tall trees on the river La Creuse, 1.5 km from the tourist (SPA) town of La Roche-Posay. Very spacious pitches. Ideal to discover the charms of the Poitou-Charantes region and the castles of the Loire. The campsite offers water sports activities and, in the high season, many fine children's animation."
