Camping du Lac de Saint-Cyr is rustig en schilderachtig gelegen in het departement Vienne (Poitou-Charentes). De camping ligt tussen de belangrijkste plaatsen Poitiers (twintig kilometer) en Châtellerault (vijftien kilometer) in. Zoals de naam al prijsgeeft, ligt de camping aan het meer van Saint-Cyr en in het recreatiepark van Saint-Cyr. Dit is een ideaal uitgangspunt voor een onvergetelijke vakantie vol water en plezier.

Bijzondere kampeerervaring

Breng je vakantie door op een van de ruime kampeerplaatsen, die gescheiden zijn door heggen. Daarnaast kun je op camping du Lac de Saint-Cyr ook kiezen voor een stacaravan, een ingerichte tent of een lodge. Wil je een bijzondere kampeerervaring? Kies dan voor de nieuwe ecolodge (2020) of voor de yurt, die omgeven is door bloemperken.

Zwembad

Het zwembad op de camping is uitgerust met watervallen, massagestralen, een peuterbadje en een bubbelbank. Dankzij deze voorzieningen biedt het verwarmde zwembad plezier voor de hele familie.

Naar het meer!

Daarnaast heeft de camping een eigen toegang (met een speciale pas) tot het meer van Saint-Cyr en een eigen zandstrand. Het 85 hectare grote meer leent zich uitstekend voor activiteiten en ook voor veilig (onder toezicht) zwemplezier. Ga lekker vissen, windsurfen, kanoën, waterfietsen, peddelsurfen of spelen op het opblaasbare aquapark. Ook een potje golf, tennis of beachvolleybal behoort tot de opties. En wat te denken van mooie wandel- en fietstochten rond het meer? Tussen 10:00 en 12:00 kun je gratis kano’s en waterfietsen lenen.

De camping organiseert wandelingen, fietstochten en culinaire activiteiten. En dan zorgen ze in het hoogseizoen ook nog eens voor een Kids Club (6-12 jaar).

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - great beach, good amenities, mobile home was very clean
Disliked - There seemed to be a general lack of communication: we did not know that we needed to reserve towels and sheets in advance, though the staff was very helpful regarding this. We booked a cleaning fee which was somewhat high (75 euros), but still had to take off all the sheets, run the dishwasher, and clean out the trash which raised the question why we were paying a cleaning fee. The worst part, however, were the parties and loud neighbors that were not quiet until 5am in the morning!! We did not sleep well either night.

Liked - A fairly large and peaceful site with a wonderful view of the lake (St Cyr). Roads from the main autoroute were good, as were the approach roads to the site entrance. Our biggest gripe was the long walk/car ride to the one chemical toilet waste disposal point…shared with motor homes & camper vans!! Perhaps in high season (we stayed in May) the main facilities would be open.

Liked - De plekken waren mooi groot en het meer is erg mooi. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en we werden fijn geholpen in het Engels. Verder een klein zwembad wat maar wel lekker is.
Disliked - Helaas was er tijdens ons verblijf was er blauwalg in het water van het meer waardoor wij geen gebruik hebben kunnen maken van het meer. Het sanitair was echt niet schoon.

Disliked - Yes the pitch we got was small in width and overhanging trees ment motorhome had to sit in the middle and no room to wind out awning this pith is unsuitable for motorhome 94

Liked - It was great to be near the lake and be able to swim in the lake. Toilets and showers were very clean. Pool looked good.
Disliked - Reception closed early. Restaurant closed early. No access to the lake from the site so we had a long walk round.
