Princely welcome

Once you arrive on the campsite and behind the entrance, you'll see a well maintained property with high trees and an open field in front of the seventeenth century castle. In the reception, housed in the castle, you'll receive a princely welcome from the owners. Their campsite is very spacious and makes a quiet and peaceful impression. The pitches are relatively large, so you have enough space for all of your gear.

Camping in the trees

Except for the usual mobile homes and a number of cottages, you can hire a unique tree house (for two people) on the campsite Le Petit Trianon de Saint Ustre. You climb up some stairs to an attractive wooden hut. A real "nest under the stars". You hire the hut with hotel service: bed service and breakfast!

For the little ones

There is a lovely swimming pool (with small slide) on the campsite. Children can play in the playground, jump in the bouncy castle or play on the mini golf course. In the high season there is an entertainment team for the little campers.

Regional dishes

The campsite does not have a restaurant, but for lunch or dinner you can go next door to the Auberge de la Ferme. They serve lovely local dishes.

Liked - Rustige camping, ruim opgezet, camping bevindt zich in een niet toeristisch deel van Frankrijk dat vinden wij prettig. Wij kwamen voor onze rust, dat ging over het algemeen goed. Vriendelijke en hartelijke eigenaren. Wij hebben ons goed vermaakt!
Disliked - Wij kwamen voor onze rust, er was een gezin met puberkinderen die tot midden in de nacht muziek aan het draaien was. Ook overdag veel geluidsoverlast met harde muziek van dit gezin. Dit vonden wij erg vervelend, is wel adequaat opgepakt door de camping na klachten. Hierna bleef overlast vooral overdag, nachtrust was terug,

Omdat de camping ook veel gebruikt wordt als tussenstop voor doorreis naar eindbestemming was er ook een groep jongeren die de camping nooit had moeten toelaten. Ronduit asociaal en hufterig gedrag van deze groep naar overige gasten. Dit had je aan kunnen zien komen.

Liked - Heerlijke overnachting op doorreis naar de Dordogne gehad
Disliked - Het sanitair was enigszins verouderd en 2 douches/2 toiletten op zo’n groot terrein vonden wij iets aan de matige kant. Maar het functioneerde verder goed.

Liked - Vooraf hadden we mailcontact gehad omdat wij vroeg in de ochtend zouden aankomen. Dat bleek bij een aantal campings niet mogelijk, hier was het geen probleem. We werden erg gastvrij ontvangen en mochten zelf een plek zoeken op het veld tegenover het witte landhuis. Prima plek, broodjesservice top en goede kwaliteit en 's avonds heerlijk gegeten (ivm corona afhaal). Sanitair nieuw en brandschoon.
Disliked - De toegangspoort is erg smal als je met een brede caravan komt.

Disliked - Het zwembad was wat klein voor de hoeveelheid gasten op de camping, terwijl de camping lang niet vol was... Qua hygiëne: er dreven veel haren in het zwembad
