Verdon Parc is a campsite situated in the Haute-Provence. In the school holidays, there is plenty of entertainment on offer for the young campers. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools provide hours of fun for young and old. This campsite offers the option of a more luxurious camping holiday in one of the accommodations or on a pitch with a private bathroom.
A private bathroom on your pitch
The camping pitches are subdivided into four categories, depending on the size and the level of luxury of the pitch. The Privilège pitches, for instance, have their own sanitary facilities. These sites are spacious and are situated on gravelly soil. The pitches at the river have a beautiful view of the river and the village.
Spending the night in a tent on stilts
There are various accommodations for rent in Camping Verdon Parc. The mobile homes are also subdivided into four categories, of which the Privilège Club offers the most luxury (your own jacuzzi next to the mobile home). Would you rather go camping in a tent? Then book one of our luxury lodge tents. The most striking tent is built on stilts, providing a lovely view of the Verdon river.
Swimming pool on the campsite, more in the area
Camping Verdon Parc features a large, almost Olympic-size outdoor swimming pool, Ideal for swimming laps. In the morning, you can join in with an aqua gym lesson. Next to the large pool is a smaller paddling pool. There is also a sunbathing area next to the pool.
Hotel service on the campsite
When you book at Camping Verdon Parc, you can choose for hotel service in terms of food. You can choose from breakfast, half board and full board. Or you can order a so-called meal basket.

This is a very large campsite but if you choose your pitch carefully it doesn't feel like it - the facilities are very good we ate in the restaurant one evening. The bar staff and some of the reception staff did not speak English which was a bit of a problem. We pitched next to the river/stream which was excellent for our dog as it was very hot during our stay. We visited the Verdon gorge and gordes a hilltop village about 40 miles away both well worth a visit.
We used this site for a visit to nearby ITER (but I'm a Physics Geek) Very pleasantly surprised as the site is excellent (Yelloh Village which we will be using again, English brochure available) The pitch was very large and shaded, needed for the high temperatures we had in May. The showers, indoor and outdoor pools and all sporting facilities were excellent, spotless. There was evening entertainment (although all in French) and the restaurant was very good. They now have a small shop on site. Greoux is a short walk away and excellent to visit (we counted 24 restaurants on the guide) A very enjoyable stay, Great ACSI value, the guidebook does not do it justice, highly recommended.
Very nice campsite with various options from riverside, shady, full sun, elevated, grass or hardstanding. Good facilities, some massive showers. Can get very busy. Shop had limited stock. Great pools both indoor and outdoor. Nice town on otherside of river.
An excellent well run camp site. We stayed there in June 2016 with our touring caravan on the biggest pitch you've ever seen. Numerous toilet blocks (mixed) were clean. Restaurant very reasonably priced. Wi-Fi 18 euros for three days. Swimming pools excellent. Site is about twenty miles away from the Verdun Gorges.
This campsite is in a lovely position right by the riverside. The pitches are generous and flat and the toilet and sanitary facilities are excellent. Despite being a large campsite it is well run, peaceful and quiet. The village of Greoux les Bains is but a short, pleasant walk from the campsite. The campsite also runs a courtesy bus to and fro from the campsite for the less energetic. The village has a number of restaurants and bars and some delightful shops.
