This is a very friendly site within easy walking distance of the lovely, picturesque town of Moustier St Marie with its tourist attractions and many good restaurants. There are fabulous views of the town [floodlit at night] from many of the pitches.
The staff were most friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are excellent with plenty of hot water and always clean.
There is an on-site pizza van with freshly-made pizzas [and chips] available every evening except Mondays, and fresh bread is available to order every day.
We shall definitely return to this site and highly recommend it.

Close to Mousiters which is a steep little walk from the campsite. Well worth the effort as great bars, restaurants and views.
Campsite has a warm welcome and toliet facilities are modern and clean.
Electric was disappointing as we looked in the ACSI book and it stated electric BBQ\'s could be used - except it blew the fuse so we had to revert to gas.
Wifi is free but only for 2 hours. After that is was chargable but not too expensive.
Overall nice stop to visit town, but probably would not stay for any length of time.

Spent 2 nights here on the way south, lovely village and a nice clean friendly site, toilets and wash areas spotless. Pitches are a bit sandy / gravel / sparse grass but plenty of shade and generally well kept

An excellent site close, via a steep walk, to the touristy but delightful small town of Moustiers Ste Marie. Friendly staff, some English spoken at reception, large pitches separated by hedges, plenty of shade for those that need it, spotless sanitary blocks. A great base from which to visit the stunning Gorges du Verdon and the Lac de Ste Croix. We would recommend both the full circuit round the Gorges and the shorter Routes des Cretes. The restaurant La Forge in Castellane offers a great value lunchtime menu and the restaurant Les Terasses du Lac in Ste Croix du Verdon is pricier but serves excellent food with a lovely view overlooking the lake.

Nice camp as start point for exploring very nice surronding. Very gently staff and very very clean toilets. There are children toilets too. There is children's playground too. You have lake nearby and spectacular canyon Verdon ...

My wife and I stayed here for just three nights, but I will find it hard to better the welcome we had from the family, especially Mlle.Christine. Nothing was ever to much trouble for her or her family. The toilet facilities were exceptional, especially the disabled facilities. Moustier is a beautiful village, some with walking difficulties may find it a bit of a challenge, but I managed & I am an amputee. You are only minutes away by car from lac st Croix. Strongly recommend at least one day out by the lake.

Out of the 18 ACSI sites we stayed on this spring this was our favourite. The sanitary facilities were always spotless, and the owners are wonderful people who drove an elderly couple, who were in a large motor home, up into the village when they learnt that gentleman had a heart condition. There is a back pedestrian gate from the site that leads up a very steep hill into the village, where there is a good choice of restaurants. Beware though, don't promise your wife a meal out on her birthday if it's a Monday, like most of France many places are closed, including the one she had her eye on. We did locate a good and reasonably priced pizza, I just felt a little overdressed in my sports jacket .
There are numerous walks from and around the village, and the Lac De Ste-Croix is easily reached by cycle foot or car from where you can hire a canoe and paddle up the Gorges Du Verdon.
We towed a 14 foot caravan to the site via the Gorges road, it is possible, but I would not want to try it in July or with a bigger unit. Try it during the week out of season, less motorbikes!
