pulled up as a last minute choice. very friendly people but everything else wasn\'t great. all pitches are dirt and stone so bent all my tent pegs. the swimming pool belongs to the camps neighbours and you get a key for the gate. also no board shorts allowed in the pool only speedos so not happy with that.
the toilets don\'t have any toilet seats and are mixed so I found myself going out of the site to use a better loo. it\'s a good site as I last choice but I wound not come back to stay again in a tent.

Very small pitches - stayed here three weeks - toilet facilities very poor - good location for all amenities - slight hill to campsite but local buses to all tourist places - lidls supermarket one kilometre - owner of site friendly - staff abrupt

At first we only had a few amps but the very pleasant lady owner changed the relay for us which was a great improvement. Pitches are small with a curb which might defy some movers. The occasional barking of dogs in nearby property was balanced by the bird song. Facilities and site were clean so we stayed three days during which we drove into Nice to visit the Art Galleries.

Very nice, quiet small campsite, with shaded pitches. Pitches are hard with gravel, divided from each other with hedges, we happened to have loats of ants around though. Campsite owner friendly and helpful. Despite the information on this website the BBQs are forbidden. Hot watter in the showers, sinks and lights in the washrooms are turned off at 22:30 which makes it a bit race back if you want to have one although after a hot day one might prefer a cold one. Yes, they are a bit dated but enough. The campsite feels secure due to the locked gate for which each resident gets a key in return for a 10 € refundable deposit. Wi-fi is additional 1€/day. For the beach it is handy to have bikes, otherwise it\'s about 30 mins walk.

Reaction from the campsite March 28, 2014

Hello and thank you for your remarks.
There is a BBQ on the campsite, just near the wifi room (you can see the picture on our website), you would have ask us where was the BBQ.
For the showers, we close at 22:30 because some people take shower in the night and the people who are on the place just near were very disturb by the noise. But we are thinking to open the shower until midnight this years.
Thanks to your remarks we try to adapt ourselves to all the reflections.
Best regards and thanks

Small, quite and essential camp site. The managers are friendly and speak many linguages. Excelent base to visit "cote d'azur'. The facilities are enough, old but well maintained. No animation inside and this is good (for me). Good camping!!!

Small site near to Nice more suited to tents than bigger outfits. Seems to profit due to its location rather than the facilities. Friends visited site for 1/2 hour and had a coffee before we went out for the day. The owner told us she should be charging per guest. Was told to turn a/c off which had not been a problem prior to our friends visiting. Left early not a pleasant stay.

Reaction from the campsite March 28, 2014

Hello,
The campsite is a private property, every person who returns has to announce and according to the internal rules the price for a guest is the regulation and it is posted in the entrance.

Stayed here in May. Extremely friendly owner. Very clean toilet facilities. Ideal location. Swimming pool beautiful. Got bus to Vence and Nice. Cost was only 1 euro -amazing! Site too much shade for us Brits who like the sun!

We chose this site because of its relative proximity (15 - 20 mins\' walk) from the centre of Cagnes-sur-Mer, with its useful transport links. The main part of the town hasn\'t a great deal to offer, although the old town (quite a steep climb up when approached directly from the campsite) and the Renoir museum there are well worth a visit. We stayed for 8 nights, visiting Menton, Villefranche, Nice and Antibes by train, and St Paul de Vence and Vence itself by bus. The site is a little cramped, with smallish pitches quite close together - perhaps the price for staying within the boundary of the town. The lady owner was fairly helpful, although we never managed to get the free WIFI working and she was fairly dismissive of our problem. We used the table tennis table (outdoors) a lot. The reception area is a bit dingy. The facilities are a little tired, but you probably wouldn\'t mind too much if you visited at a hotter time of year.

Reaction from the campsite March 28, 2014

Hello and thank you for your remarks,
Our WIFI had some difficulties last year, we have changed the system and we hope it will be better this year.

We were there for 2 days. Good place for visiting Nice, Cannes and other coast towns. About 500 metres to the shopping and bus stop.
