Camping Le Vallon Rouge lies in an idyllic setting deep inside the forest, adjacent to the river Loup and only 9 km from the Mediterranean. The beautiful coastal resorts of Nice, Antibes, Cannes and Monaco (Côte d’Azur) are within reasonable distance. You camp here in a picturesque region where you can enjoy nature, beautiful towns and a superb coastline. The camping site is particularly suitable for families with (small) children.
Shaded pitches with grass surface
The well maintained terrain provides ample shade due to the numerous deciduous and pine trees and offers very attractive, demarcated pitches. The surface is rather hard and largely covered with grass. In addition to camping pitches, there are tents, mobile homes and bungalows for rent.
Water fun galore
Swimming enthusiasts have ample choice at Le Vallon Rouge: there is a (renovated) swimming pool and a toddler pool with compacted sunbathing lawn surrounded by loungers. The swimming pool is located in full sun. The lawn is partly in the shade. You can also swim in the river Loup. Children can play to their heart's content in shallow spots. There is a pebble beach.
Karaoke and children's club
Amenities for children include a small playground, a sports terrain, a mini golf course, bad weather provision and entertainment (dance evenings, karaoke, disco and children's club). Anglers (with licence) can cast their line in the river. For the more active guests there are rental bicycles.
Snacks and pizzas
Daily fresh bread is available on the camping site. There is also a restaurant with a limited menu, where you can get mostly snacks and pizzas. This is only open during high season (July and August) and in the evenings.

Really bad campsite. It is really dirt, especially the toilets. It's an old structure and the pitch was flooded with rain. We had a bad experience with staff. The bartender is really unpleasent, and she sent us away because our children were making noise sitting at a table while we were waiting a coffee. We complained to the direction but we have not even received an apology. Finally, it was a bad experience.
Campsite on the lower price end for families with children. Clean and peaceful. Water supply a bit far from pitches. Our friend had a mobilehome and the only issue was that it was first OK to leave one day earlier and then when the mobilehome was cleaned, management suddendly changed mind and did not want to give back the money for one night. A bit lauder voice was needed to solve that issue.
