Camping Durance Luberon is located not far from various nature parks, the Durance River and the town of Mallemort. This is a lovely and peaceful campsite with plenty of room and privacy and a beautiful large swimming pool with a Mediterranean ambiance.
Shaded and well-maintained
The flat, rectangular terrain has countless broad-leaved trees and tall shrubs which provide plenty of shade. Everything looks well-tended. The pitches are located along gravelled paths, are very spacious and offer ample privacy. You can choose a pitch in the sun or (partly) shaded. Want to hire something? You can choose from three types of mobile homes.
On the outskirts of the campsite lies a large swimming pool and a round paddling pool (still quite deep) with a Mediterranean atmosphere. There is ample room surrounding the pools and loungers are available. Trees line one side of the swimming pool complex. Campsite guests can also find a spot in the shade under the awning. Catch up on some reading or dream the day away.
Multi-functional sports field
Children can play to their heart's content on the multi-functional sports field. Campsite guests can play tennis for free or work up a sweat on the outdoor fitness equipment. Kayaking and canoeing on the nearby Durance river is also possible.
There are no eating establishments or shops at the campsite. There is, however, a bread service. In the nearby village just three kilometres away, is a large supermarket.
The modern sanitary facilities are centrally located and are kept clean and tidy. Part of the sanitary facilities is closed in the low season. A key is required to make use of the children's washrooms.

large spacious pitches with good facilities. Good pool. Need to bike or drive to town or shops/restaurants.
Our pitch did flood temporarily during thunderstorm
Liked - We liked the mobil home and the view from the terrasse. We like the campsite very much because we have stayed there several times before with our caravan.
Disliked - There were some noisy neighbours
Liked - We have stayed in many campsites in France, and this one was the best. It is very well run - clean, quiet and spacious pitches. The owners are wonderful people who are very willing to help out with any problems. The swimming pool is excellent.
Disliked - Nothing - we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come again
This is a really good family run campsite. It has larger than average sized plots most with good shade .We stayed from 6th July until 22 July 2015. The site was very quiet at first and then rapidly filled in the last week as families with children arrived . However the site still remained a quiet relaxing place. The swimming pool is a good size. There are plenty of toilet facilities that are kept clean, although if I have a criticism, it would be more hygenic if they supplied soap. The nearest town Mallemort 3.5km away is a smallish hill town with a couple of restuarants and a good sized supermarket. There are several small hilltowns nearby, all with beautiful views
