Camping site les Mûres is situated on the Gulf of Saint-Tropez between vineyards. The camping site is perfectly located to visit the renowned beach resorts on the Côte d’Azur. Pay a visit to Saint-Tropez, the Roman antiquities of Fréjus or Port Grimaud with its many canals. Venture a bit further inland where you will find many beautiful villages built against mountain slopes. In peak season, entertainment is offered on the camping site. You can reach the beach with restaurant and a bar via a tunnel under the road.
To the beach via a tunnel
Camping site les Mûres consists of two sections, separated by a road. A tunnel has been constructed to get you safely to the other section or to the beach. If still available, you can choose your own pitch with lots or little shade and you can park your car near your pitch. In addition, there are fully furnished mobile homes for rent, which are situated in three different zones: with sea view, a view of Saint-Tropez or positioned between trees.
La Brasserie and La Cabane
'La Brasserie', which serves Mediteranean dishes, is located on the beach. The chef cooks dishes with Italian and Provençal flavours. Enjoy the changing daily menus, pizzas or grilled chicken. In peak season, entertainment is provided at the brasserie. On the beach you will also find 'La Cabane', where you can order salads, sandwiches, ice cream and drinks to take back to your towel or, alternatively, sit yourself down on the terrace.

Good location next to the beach and can cycle to St Tropez, Port Grimaud and St Maxime all along the cycle paths. Reception and bar area all very neat and tidy and have obviously just been refurbished. We ate in the restaurant and was very good and reasonably priced. We stayed over in the pine wood area as the beach side was full and I'm glad we did. The pitches over in our area seemed a lot bigger, not as cramped as over on the beach side. Good sized supermarket on site, prices a little expensive but that is to be expected on a campsite supermarket. No free WiFi and prices for the WiFi were quite high. Toilet block in our area needed updating but the showers were hot and quite powerful.
Very easy check in, English spoken.choose your own site then tell reception.easier since not August. shop and restaurant on site.Well spread out site, very peaceful but check your neighbours..Spanish teens arrived in rented motor homes but then ear plugs needed as they talk LOUD. site has underpass to beach and good cycle path to port grimaud. Can reccomend this site to all for 2 or 3 days stop if in the area. clean and safe.
This is a lovely campsite with friendly helpful staff and a marvellous setting. We had a pitch near the sea and enjoyed the situation. The site was well maintained and clean though the showers were quite dated.
This a good site as long as you are not next to the road. The traffic and noise is very intrusive. This is a well kept site with very clean good facilities. The restaurant serves good meals at very reasonable prices. is part under cover and part open air. The beach is accross the main road from the camp and there is a crossing just outside the gate. This is a nice sandy beach in the St Tropez Bay.
The showers/toilets are basic but clean. As a caravanner the facilities for fresh water are primitive, with very poor pressure. As for the facility to empty waste water this entails a long walk to the toilet block where the disposal point is with the chemical toilet disposal which is about half a meter off the ground. These are important aspects and need to be improved
Nice camping with the beach cross (or under) the street, we had no complaints. It was quite full in June, I can not imagine how crowded it must be in July or August.
We use this site twice a year spring and autumn it has facilities right on the beach , the shop on site satisfies immediate needs and it's close to major shopping outlets . The staff do a great job to make you feel comfortable and important GREAT SITE , SAFE BATHING FOR ADULS AND CHILDREN
Would definitely visit again, staff very good and friendly. It is a good area for cycling especially to Sainte -Maxime and Sainte- Tropez.
Stayed on this site a number of times. The beach side is a great location but can be noisy next to the road if you’re a light sleeper stay across the road; at the back its peaceful and is a short walk through a tunnel under the road to the beach so safe crossing of a very busy road for children. Bar has nice food and drinks but drinks are not cheap (It’s the South of France) but food is very good value and excellent. You can catch a boat Taxi at Port Grimaud to St Tropez and on a Saturday buy all your fresh produce at the market; go early 8.00am. Great location if you have a bike as the main road has a separate cycle track so it’s safe from the main traffic flow most of the time, lots of places to explore so get a good local map. Pitches are hard ground and drain quick in heavy rain; the beach side takes a little longer to drain and can be a bit muddy. The staff were all very friendly and we had no complaints or heard of any when we stayed in Sept 2013 for a week of a six week trip.
